Stayed here awhile ago and it sounds like it has not changed. I agree with other reviewers about the inappropriateness of being asked to remove shoes, as well as having a tiny, dark room with a poor quality mattress and unable to lock our door.upon departure. There are plenty of other wonderful B&B''s at NOTL so keep on looking. I... More

This B&B is in a great location, just minutes walking to the Main Street and yet very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. They are happy to recommend good restaurants, etc. Morning conversations with the other guests are wonderful. The sitting room downstairs is comfortable and a good place to... More

This was our third stay at the Inn and we love being there. Gail and Dave are exceedingly thoughtful hosts who are always looking for ways to accommodate your needs. The breakfasts are superb culinary delights; the rooms are appointed in lovely fashion with graciousness and comfort top-notch. Plus they have a lovely garden to sit in to relax. A... More

We decided to stay in Niagara on the lake as part of our trip from New England to The Henry Ford Museum. Not knowing the area, I checked with Trivago and most of the town has excellent ratings. I chose this b&b based on the location, price, and what we thought was free breakfast. The owners know the area well... More

As we were trying to find this bed and breakfast, we drove right past it. The house is small with an overgrown yard making signs hard to find. When we got inside we noticed how small and dark everything was, with a funny odour. The owner greeted us in a friendly manner. We were asked to remove our shoes before... More

The Apple Tree B&B is a charming home. The owners Gale and David are lovely, warm, and welcoming to each guest. Breakfast is a real treat. It is great to interact with the other guests. Everyone is pleasant and interesting. The only negative is the absence of a TV set. But it was the first week of the olympics so... More

The location of this charming 200 year home couldn't be better, only a minutes walk to Queen Street. The hosts were charming and attentive and the breakfasts were excellent. My wife and I really enjoyed it.

Everything in a stay at Apple Tree B&B in NOTL is ravishing! The wonderful 1820 charming home, the extraodinary location close to main street NOTL, the easyness to go back and forth on the Niagara region and the most warm welcoming of the hosts Gail and Dave, their helpfull pointers on the region and, mostley, the delicious, generous and genuinely... Stayed with Gail and Dave to celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary. Absolutely amazing experience! Location was perfect - only a short walk to all that old town Niagara on the lake has to offer. Breakfast was original, thoughtful and delicious. Gail obviously puts her heart and soul into its creation. Room (golden delicious) was impressive with lots of character... More

Many thanks for your kind words about the inn and the innkeepers.
