We have stayed with Chris numerous times in our trips to Niagara -on- the- Lake over the years. Cecile's House is charming, immaculate and the breakfasts are scrumptious. He is a French Chef after all! Chris always welcomes us like we are friends or family. We will certainly be reserving a room for next season of Shaw Festival. Oh and... More

Cecile's House is just a place you are made to feel at home as soon as Chris opens his door. The rooms are so nice and very clean; perfectly located for walking around NOTL; and Chris' breakfast is soooooo amazing, all home cooked. You should not miss Cecile's House when visiting NOTL.

A few years ago I wrote a review about Cecile's House, a Bed and Breakfast, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, but I would like to take the time now to write another one. Why? This is our ninth year staying at Cecile's House and Chris, the owner and host, makes changes to his beautiful home, built in 1890, every year. While trying to... More

We have now stayed at Cecile's House twice, once during the Christmas season 2013, and now just recently in July 2014. Both times we have felt so welcome, as if coming to a well loved friend's home. To be a guest of Chris', is a wonderful experience. From the resplendent breakfast table he presents, to the very clean and cozy... More

Cecile's House is like being at a Royal Inn. Chris has made the entire experience if you stay a most enjoyable stay. The atmosphere is very inviting. Each of his 3,rooms are unique. His breakfast is something one doesn't want to miss.

I recently visited Niagara on the Lake with my boyfriend and we had a great time at Cecile's House during our short stay! The pictures that I had seen online are 100% accurate as the house is gorgeous and the location perfect for walking to the waterfront or through town. We stayed in the Country Room, which is the middle... More

Chris was an amazing host. Gorgeous bedrooms with amazing bedding and bathrooms. Breakfast was light and delicious. Lots of French charisma and character. Beautiful design. Walking distance to the heart of the town and to the golf course. Clean and quiet.

I almost hate to disclose Cecile's House because I want it all for ourselves whenever we can get away for a time. However, I also want Chris to have continued success in keeping Cecile's House as full as he can. We enjoy the quiet autonomy of being there, no one to bother you and a wonderful "choice" of healthy breakfast... More

An absolutely beautiful home in the most convenient and picturesque part of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The breakfast was so delicious and unlike any other breakfast I have ever experienced. We felt like we were in the lap of luxury while we were there. Chris really makes you feel welcome and we would have loved to have stayed longer. I can't recommend Cecile's... More
