Detailed Reviews
A rustic little motel located directly on the shore of Lake Nippising. See the lake and beautiful sunsets from your room window. A 15 second walk to the beach where you can swim and walk out a quarter mile on the sand bars. Walking distance to all ammenities. City Transit stops right out front which will get you to downtown and the beautiful lakeshore boardwalk or you can walk within half hour. Plenty of shopping. Two parks, one on either side of the motel. The Manager was very friendly and accommodating. This motel was once the setting for filming of Kids In The Hall, "No Tell Motel". We truly had a fantastic time there and would stay again anytime.

This is not a 5 star motel however the location makes up for the rooms. Right on Lake Nipissing with a small sandy beach and stunning sunsets. If you feel like a walk along the beach, go left and walk all the way to the point in the distance where you will find a lovely park. Right in town for shopping and restaurants. The rooms could use updating, new windows so you could see the view better but the beds are comfortable, towels soft and the staff friendly.

New owners at motel for only 5 months so cleaning up units. Very nice location as had access to nice sandy beach, great for summer holiday. Rooms were well kept. No smoking units had slight smell but maybe just from workers being in rooms.

My family stayed in one of the cottages and couldnt have had a better time. It was like having our own house which was very helpful travelling with a 1 year old and 4 year old. We had our own patio and there is a section of beach just for guests. It was like a miniature resort! Most of the furniture is dated as others have said but who cares about that? This is a cottage resort its not supposed to be fancy it is supposed to be affordable and clean, and it is. If you want fancy, North Bay has a Hilton if you want to pay triple. This was like having our own cottage right in town and was quiet yet conveniently close to stores etc. It is perfect for a family vacation and Sunny and Kim clearly care about the place. They are keeping costs low while maintaining a very functional mini resort. I will ALWAYS stay here when im in North Bay!

We stayed here last summer when we were attending a music festival. We only stayed one night and we cut that short. They charged us $100 to stay in a spider infested dump. The room was dirty and we skipped the shower because it looked gross. Worst motel I have ever stayed at. Shouldn't even be on Hotels.com. Would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. Avoid this dump!!

The one thing this motel has going for it is location. On the shore of the Nippising, with a little sand beach and a magnificent view.
They pack a lot of rooms and cabins into their little lot, so there isn't a lot of privacy.
Our cabin was okay, more or less, but we did find a bandaid on the washroom floor, so I'm not sure that the cleaning staff is top notch.
The Motel was sold out the night we stayed, but was very queit.
Close to restaurants and shopping.
This isn't the lap of luxury, just a motel with a great view of Lake Nippising.
Would probably stay here again.

They have charged me for a safety deposit and was promised a return. It has been a week ,I been calling back for the deposit.
The TV was broken ... The place had a sense of extreme violence the buildings are not sound proof and you can hear fighting all night

We recently stayed here for one night. Although it's not fancy, the room was clean and quiet. Motel is near shopping and is right on the beach. Enjoyed a walk on the sandy beach and watched the sunset.
