Of course on a budget price you get what you pay for....having said that the room was clean...and an abundance of kindness was displayed to me when I had a mishap here...the desk staff (Jerry) and Tom (don't know his title) could not have been more kind and helpful on our stay...I had the best sleep I'd had in a week...very comfortable bed...we're going to stay here on our weekend trips from the north again...thanks to all who work there...

Was there July 16-19. Have been there years ago and it was not too bad. What a change now! New owners, staff does not care! One girl behind desk took her time to acknowledge us. First room was very dirty, not vaccumed was dirty Q Tip on floor,almost fell off bed as one side was slanted and smelled bad. Was suppose to be non smoking but could smell stale smoke. Went down to complain and girl did not say one word to me did not even make eye contact just put new keys on desk, Next room was at least vaccumed. However ice machine was broken,phones did not work for 1 1/2 days. Water pressure very bad for showers and there was urine stains all down one side of toilet which we did not notice until the next day. Also the first morning there we had handprints on our new car and noticed scratches and gouges in hood! Air conditioner filter light was on and when they finally had someone come check he took so much dirt and paper out of it. Was not cleaned for a long time. While we were out housekeeping came and made the beds and changed towels but did not sweep bathroom floor as the same dirt was there and did not vaccum! Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! It is obvious no one cares about it not even the owners or they would be making sure housekeeping did their job!

booked it over the phone was asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room , I got non smoking room , going to my room felt like I smoked a pack of smokes before entering the room , once inside everything smelt like smoke and had a sore throat . Large hump in the center of the room , very out dated . air conditioner just throne in to the hole in the wall with fiberglass insulation stuffed around . During the night people running up and down the hall welling at each other, the place was very dirty(recommend to leave your shoe's on at all times) . left next day broken glass from the main entrance door . put the key on the counter wasn't asked how my stay was(I think she knew better not to ask) . This was an over night from hell , Don't recommend this place at all .

The room was small but very clean. Some might find it too clean and the smell of cleaners too strong. But it was a good bed, good sleep and the person at the front desk very friendly. I would go back again. Not far from many fast food outlets, restaurants, and some stores. A gas station is only blocks away.

The place was clean and the price was reasonable. However, it is old and a bit beat up. Not a bad choice if you just want a bad. But I wouldn't get my hopes high for much more that. Definatly a small town feel.

Stopped in for beers and had good deep fried food from the indoor chip truck. Good service there.
An interesting place with locals who like to socialize. Decent service and selection of drinks and beer on tap.
