Located a few blocks away from Canada's Parliament, the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel was a very good value for this stay. Reception was welcoming and efficient. They took good care of a colleague who was a walk-up guest. Their restaurant servers were friendly, helpful and efficient....More
I consider this hotel my home away from home but it’s been impossible to get a room lately. I have been staying at Sheraton in Gatineau but was lucky to get a room in feb. elevators are all replaced, lobby completed with beautiful updates.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Location location location- fantastic, located right downtown.
Staff was very friendly. Valet parking. Rooms
Very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable For the price I was surprised to find breakfast was not included with our room.
The hotel is very well located. It’s right in the middle of downtown within walking distance of the Parliament and nearby memorials/museums. It’s also next to spark street, where you can find restaurants and bars in a nice pedestrian road. The hotel itself is nice,...More

The hotel restaurant is good. But something more casual, there are a number of cafes and coffee shops close by (e.g. on Albert Street towards the canal). For example, take a look at ollyfrescos online (location: a block away from hotel on Albert Street -- Unit 1 – 90 Elgin Street -- James Michael Flaherty Building).
Busier during the weekdays. Quiet during the weekends and some cafes/coffee shops are not opened (catering to the office crowds).
Have a great time.
