The hotel is a little dated but comfortable. The rooms are like little apartments which is wonderful. Staff are very friendly. But- I was NOT impressed after driving 5 hours and arriving in the dark to find out there was no parking. She pointed to a photocopied map there’s parking over there and there blah blah. It was freezing and dark and the thought of going out again to hunt for parking did not impress me.
Les Suites has always been one of my favourite hotels and this stay was one of best! I was able to fully enjoy my stay (even without having a chance to take full advantage of the pool and fitness centre). 100% can’t wait for the next time!
We stayed here 4 nights for a conference at the nearby Westin Hotel and Conference centre - - most reasonable prices in the area for what you get. Short walk to the conference centre - also close to the subway/LRT station. Check in went quick. Showing a bit of age in the furniture and carpetting - TV nice - Rooms are big, kitchen is large and well appointed. Living room large - big balcony - staff are very attentive - especially room service. Secure access because it's in a bit of a dodgey area east of the byward market. There is a homeless shelter across the road - so some issues with homeless people and mentally ill people (noise and shouting). Mind your safety in the area - don't travel alone especially after dark. Watch for people on drugs and alcohol abusers. Small cafe in the lobby has reasonable (adequate) prices and selection.…
Though a little late, I loved my stay so much I made an account here just to leave this review. Staying at Les Suites is like staying at your home away from home. The suites are the size of a full apartment and the units, though well used, are kept well and a renovation is in the works too. The staff are all extremely nice and accommodating and very prompt to all requests. Any issues are easily resolved. A personal thank you to Ms. Devon Swan, the manager, who actually checked me into my suite and made my partner and my stay extra special by placing us in an upgraded room with a view for my birthday. Then later when we had complications with parking, she quickly came up with a solution that worked for us and delivered a hand written card and chocolates with an apology. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and always greeted us by name when she saw us, which I found to be a very personal touch. Every staff member is extremely professional and caring which I can see why when they have leadership like that. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Les Suites to anyone traveling in the area!…
Rooms were cleans and nice, I enjoyed staying Les Suite. I love the kitchen and the accommodations that came with rooms as well. My favorite thing was the view of Ottawo was beautiful at night. Customer service was amazing.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Les suites Hotel. The view from our room was amazing. You could see downtown, and the mall was right across the street. The services at Les suites were beyond fabulous as Well room service came by every day to clean and did a fantastic job! If I come back to Canada again, I will stay at Les suite!!
The suites were spacious and clean for anyone staying with a large group. The hotel was situated in the middle of downtown Ottawa and I didn’t have to travel far to get to any of my destinations. I enjoyed my stay here a lot. This was one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at.
I recently stayed at Les Suite in Ottawa and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions such as Byward Market, the Rideau Canal and the National Gallery of Canada. Overall, I would highly recommend Les Suite to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Ottawa.
Staff were nice and when asked for supplies, they were promptly delivered. We rented a two bedroom, because there was my wife and I and one adult daughter with us. Space wise very good, beds comfortable with clean linen.....the carpet and furniture in the living space was however "tired" looking and needs to be upgraded. The coffee maker in the kitchen is too small for 3-4 adults and does not make "hot" coffee, you need to microwave it once brewed but you need to brew sereral times to get enough (perhaps get 2 pretty full cups each time). Housekeeping did not carpet sweep the floors, plates, etc in the kitchen very minimal and basic, certainly difficult to use the kitchen as advertised. However, the location close to the Rideau Mall and Byward Market made up for most of this. Not bad value for your money considering the location.…
I went few times to Ottawa, this was the 1st time my family (wife and 3 kids) and I stayed at Les Suite for 4 nights, now it is our official stay whenever we visit Ottawa again. Every thing about it was great and accommodating, the location is close to major tourist attractions you can literally walk to the parliament hill and surrounding. I’d like to Thank Amin who works on the front desk who was very professional and helpful, the duty manager Abdi Moalin a smart knowledgeable guy, and special thanks to Rosy from the house keeping department who called us a while after the checkout to let us know we left a purse with important documents and helped us retrieve it. I could’ve put two sentences and say the place is great but as frequent traveller it’s rare to have a pleasant stay and experience with zero interruption so I had to speak my heart.…
