Very cozy and well situated. Walked to the rideau canal for skating. Bed was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful , felt like home. Would go back for sure. Secure with keypad entrance and self locking, a plus

Non Smoking location, a small smoking area is out front. We were very late for our check in, a comedy of errors on my part. We arrived in the middle of a black out. After a momentary panic looking at the security entry key pad the lady of the house came to our rescue. She met us with flash lights...

I stayed one night in a third floor room with shared bathroom. The room are small but comfortable. Breakfast was self-serve and there was plenty of choice. The manager was most efficient and helpful. I was able to park behind the house in their parking lot which was very helpful. My room looked out over a park.

The Rideau Inn B&B, located just a few doors off of Elgin Street, is the perfect central location for your visit to Canada's beautiful capital city. Easy 20 minute walk to Parliament Hill, the Byward Market and many other tourist sights and destinations. Rideau inn is really a nice home in downtown! It is different from hotels that name themselves inn in that it is literally a warm home prepared for having some guests. Nice staff welcomed us upon arrival and the great vibes fascinated my wife from the first minute! We were really comfortable in our short stay... The only thing we...

A gem in downtown Ottawa. A 20 min walk to Parliament HIll and a half block from lively Elgin St. Sweet owner Lucie goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful. Continental breakfast food is wonderful, and rooms are clean and comfortable. Computer, phone and TV available for guest use in sitting room.

Great location in the city centre, only a short (15 min) walk to byward market and slightly further to parliament hill (25 min) but still peaceful and quiet to sleep at night. Lots of bars and restaurants very close by on Elgin St and surrounding area. Hotel itself is very homely and nicely presented, breakfast included is nice and our...

I was preparing to return to the Ottawa Valley from a little sortie in Toronto with a diversion to Stratford when I got the urge to spend a night in Ottawa first, and perhaps take in some of the BluesFest. I found the Rideau Inn B&B and on seeing the address knew it was the place I had to stay....

Excellent location, clean, quiet and very hospitable hostess. My daughter and I spent the long weekend in Ottawa and stayed 2 nights in the Newfoundland room. Did not hear a sound from the other guests! Breakfast was ready each morning with hot coffee and had plenty to choose from. We parked the car at City Hall (15 minute walk away)...
