My husband and I very much enjoyed our time on the island. Sandra and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would come back in a heartbeat if I could. After reading some of the more negative comments on here I think it is important for people to know about what this island is about. It's a vacation for...

My wife and I spent two days at the Inn. We loved it !!! If you are looking for a quaint relaxing getaway I highly recommend Sandra's Inn. Coffee and muffins are all that is needed to start your day here. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

The Wandering Pheasant is a pleasant place to stay. We had one of the "guest houses" behind the main property. The room was spacious with its own bathroom and screened porch (hammock!) and fridge. The bed and pillows were decent, and everything clean and orderly. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the Inn is literally steps from a...

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. We loved the front porch which also had a fridge and the hammock!!! Hostess was nice and friendly. Beach was a short walk away. The only complaint hot water took awhile. No restaurants were close by had to bike at least 45 from ferry dock. Otherwise good night stay.

We stayed here this summer and would have to say that the room we were in was average at best. As others have mentioned, it is on the east side of the island, really not close to places to eat or have a drink. If you have a car this isn't an issue but to get most places by bike...

This was our first visit to the island, We stayed here for two nights on the weekend(you don't have the option of booking for only one night on a weekend!) arrived on a Friday night and was wondering around and searching on google for 20 minutes at the ferry dock to find a taxi! Eventually by chance the taxi driver...

Great place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet. Great room with a screened in porch. Friendly staff. No tv or restaurant. We went off season so finding places for our meals was a challenge. I would highly reccomend taking some food along when renting anywhere on the island for any extended stays.

We just returned from 4 nights at the Wandering Pheasant Inn. Sandra is the owner of the Inn and her manager is Brandy. We were impressed with how helpful both were during our stay on Pelee Island. They went out of their way to be helpful and to provide information whenever we asked. Neither actually live at the Inn, but...

We stayed here for the 1/2 Marathon Weekend and found it to be an awesome place to stay. Sandra the owner was so friendly and helpful and made our stay feel welcoming. Even with a completely full house she managed to take care of everyone's needs including dietary requirements (gluten free) and create an atmosphere of harmony and fun!!
