With just three rooms, owners John and Mary Lou have made the Caversham an intimate and immaculately clean bed and breakfast, with great food and service to match. They are genuinely interested in their guests without being overpoweringly so. The result is a place that we would want to revisit next time we are in Stratford, especially since it is...

I recently stayed at The Caversham House in Stratford, Ontario with my family. We were in town to see a play and enjoy the great restaurants. We were warmly received by our hosts Mary Lou and John and immediately felt right at home. The main floor living room is available to guests and is a bright room with comfy furniture....

Lovely home, a delightful couple who make you feel at home, super breakfast, and a comfortable, north-facing verandah on which to relax between attending Festival performances, and/or touring the historic little city and southwestern Ontario countryside. It strikes me that this would be the perfect spot at which to settle for a few nights while exploring Alice Munro country. Once...

We just completed our first stay at the Caversham House. Mary Lou and John, the hosts, were as welcoming as could be. Our room was lovely, with small treats available for late-night hunger attacks. Breakfast at 8:30 was delicious and abundant. Our fellow guests were delightful. The bed and breakfast is located in a convenient location, close to the theatres...

I stayed at the Caversham House with a girlfriend in August as I have for the past five years. The hosts are fabulous, attentive to all my needs, and serve great breakfasts, included in the price. MaryLou purchased lactose free cottage cheese for the crepes so I could eat them, since I have a milk intolerance issue. The breakfasts are...

Tasteful style is also found on the spacious and comforting front porch or in the intimate garden, all a pleasure for discerning guests.
