Wow, what a lovely review! Thank you for the kind words and for such a descriptive review. The suite you were in #2 I also find to be very comfortable, the 2 wing back chairs the nice sitting area make it very relaxing. Great Location, Excellent Staff Very Friendly and helpful Room was nice and comfortable, en-suite (room 10) was a bit small if you are a big person it would feel cramped. Lovely Historic Building with downtown and Avon Theatre in walking distance.

We had a lovely stay at this quaint hotel, located in the heart of Stratford. Within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The room was rustic but immaculate. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We took a bedroom with a separate living area. Next visit we would get a tv in our bedroom and a...

The Stratford Hotel is a welcome change from most other hotels in town. The owners and staff are genuinely lovely people - friendly, helpful, and warm, yet still respectful of guests' privacy. The hotel itself is charming and quirky, and remarkably inexpensive (at least in the off-season; I visited in October). My best friend and I were in town for...

Meant to get off the super-slab & enjoy some Ontario countryside & the experience of a small interesting town. Web-site hunting led us to Stratford,, & finally the Stratford Hotel. Only had one night to spare, so missed the theatre action,, but truly enjoyed what we did see & do. The Hotel was the best part of our Ontario experience....

Connie and George (and team) are terrific hosts! Great welcome. Free parking. And an easy walk to everything Stratford! Comfie rooms - we had the Jacuzzi suite this time. They gave us a tour of other options and we're thinking one of the quiet suites at the back of the hotel next time. And there will be a next time!...

Lovely old building with very comfortable and attractive rooms. A touch of old world charm with modern amenities. Free coffee and cookies in the lobby. Real wine glasses with upscale chocolates, bottled water, and books to read - all complimentary. Very homey and inviting. Right downtown, adjacent to Stratford's old-town area. A short walk to everything. Step back in time...
