Located within 15 minutes walking distance of the Avon theater and the downtown area restaurants and 30 minutes to the Festival theater. Coffee was delivered to the room every morning at the time you selected, then excellent breakfast on the pool patio between 8:30-9:30.

Stratford is one of those cities that are unique in that they offer so much to visitors while feeling so comfortable and relaxing. We try to replicate that feeling here at the Inn, mirroring the quiet , calm face of the city in a tranquil estate-like setting and focussing on attentive service to our guests. Every Fall, we spend a weekend at the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Ontario highlighted by a delightful stay at the Stewart House Inn. Regardless of the quality of the plays that we see, the way that our little group is treated at the inn has been consistently fantastic. (The Bard would have stayed there himself, I'm sure, if he had...

My wife and I have stayed here many times before, and this stay was excellent, once again. We stayed in the Garden Suite this time because it is most convenient to the pools. My folks were with us and they stayed in the Georgian Suite -- is that ever a beautiful room as well! One of our favourite things to...

Fantastic place to stay. This is a historic house, the rooms are all beautifully presented, with a different name for each room. Can't say more about how clean the rooms and house were.
