We called last minute to book with Sally's Place and got Barb on the phone. She had all the answers to all of my questions and then some. We were arriving late which was also not a problem. We stay in the Ralph Waldo Emerson suite. This is our home away from home. Beautifully kept and exquisite. My family feels... More

Four of us -- my sister and our husbands -- stayed at Sally's Place in the Virginia Wolff Suite while we were in town to see plays at the Stratford Festival. We loved the suite! It was within walking distance to all the theaters and to great restaurants. The suite had everything we needed and was very comfortable! We will... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Sally's Place in The Henry James Suite. We were very happy that both our dogs were aloud to stay with us, and even had a confined 'backyard' for them to enjoy being off-leash. The employee(s) were extremely helpful, kind and very professional. I tell all my friends, if they need a place to... More

My wife and I travel extensively for work and pleasure, and have done so for 24 years spanning Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, South America, and of course the Americas. We are fairly particular about where we stay and the standards of service. We live in Manhattan and are avid theater lovers, and so finding the right "home" in... More

We have just returned from our second stay at Sally's Place. First time: Virgnia Woolf suite; this time Ralph Waldo Emerson suite. Superb location, superb setting for a family stay to enjoy the plays at Stratford's Festival. We have stayed here with our parents, our kids and the spacious apartments did not feel crowded. With fully stocked kitchen, hearty breakfasts,... More

There is no better home away from. The rooms are fabulously furnished, landscaping is lovely, the location is blocks away from anything that I need and of course; it's lovely Stratford, so there's so much to do. I stay here for a few months every year and find my hosts to be particularly helpful and good fun. They are also... More

Visiting the Stratford Festival of Canada is always a treat, but the choices for places to stay are limited. There are no brand name hotels or motels, and only a couple of real hotels and a few motels. There are dozens of B&Bs of varying quality. You generally get a decent room in most of the B&Bs, but you have... More

We have been coming to the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford for many, many years. Back when our son was in school, we stayed at Sally's Place on Waterloo, across the river and just loved it. When that building was sold, we were crushed. We tried other B & B's, but haven't been satisfied. This year we stayed in one of... More
