Second time back. Will keep going. Convenient location within walking distance of theatres, restaurants and shopping. Tim is always helpful. Rooms are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is gourmet, not just the usual spread. Beyond his control, unfortunately, is lousy tap water. He provides alternative sources. Reasonably priced with rooms within a good range.

What a beautiful old inn, situated in the midst of period, stately mansions. Great area for walkabouts. You will enjoy the many front yard gardens. Stonemaiden is also conveniently close to downtown and the Avon Theatre. Tim's attentive service enhanced our stay, enjoyed our conversations and information on the local history of Stratford. Beautiful, comfortable suites, tastfully decorated. Then there...

What a wonderful B&B. Johanne and Tim are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and very well laid out. We stayed in the Secret Garden room which was super quiet. The hotel is within walking distance of the theatres. The highlite of the 2 day visit was definitely the breakfasts. They were fantastic. You couldn't ask...

I stayed overnight for a business trip and will be back! I was greeted by the owner and given the Lewis Terrace a quaint room with a gorgeous four post bed. Many amenities guest fridge, pool table, sitting area, water, coffee, tea available at all times. The bed was very comfortable hard to get out of in the morning :)...

My husband and I stayed here for one night after watching a musical. We were going to stay in a smaller room, but they kindly upgraded us to the Romeo and Juliette room. It was so beautiful, and we made full use of the large tub. The breakfast was delicious, one thing for me that is always a hit or...

Very comfortable, nicely furnished rooms and full breakfast. Lovely, friendly innkeeper. The Location was close enough to theaters, but a bit more quiet than center of downtown, which we loved. Sweet garden!

A friend and I stayed one night on Nov 5, 2016. We were in the Brakiel room. Comfortable beds and clean/comfortable room on the top level of the home. It has an ensuite which we were quite happy with. A small tv in the room which we never turned on. A common room on the main floor with a snooker...

We stayed one night with our daughter, and reserved the penthouse Secret Garden room (the old attic), which we all loved! The character of the room, and all of the rooms, was charming and lovely. The house was clean and bright, we enjoyed the pool table, and were well cared for at breakfast time.

Although far too short a stay, our anniversary trip to Stratford was made very special by the owners of the Stone Maiden Inn. For one, quick telephone responses to inquiries and changes to itinerary - both over the phone and via e-mail. Second, the room was clean, quaint, quite and lovely. Third, the breakfast was exquisite, with a wonderful array...

Our room was very clean, lovely linens, great location. Been there twice and would go back again. For some reason, we enjoyed our breakfast more the first time, but that's just personal preference. Tim the owner is a very nice.
