Craig Foster and his staff got a huge standing ovation from us. We had tickets for a 2 pm matinee and were stuck on Route 7 and arrived with 45 minutes to spare. We were able to check in and get a quick bite, and luckily the Avon Theater was across the street. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast....

My two friends and I stayed at Fosters For a night, since we were going to see Chorus Line. The rooms were really nice, beds comfy! There service needs some follow through. We reserved a table for dinner, the person taking the reservation knew we were upstairs, that we were going to a show . They could have contacted us, once...

After making a reservation at another nearby hotel-- which was so gross I couldn't bear to stay more than the first night-- we happened upon Foster's Inn and they not only had a room, but it was a delight. Appealing, unique decor, large and comfortable bath, clean and quiet. You enter via the hostess stand at the entry-level restaurant-- which...

Our rooms were large enough and had small couches. The decor is old-fashioned, and well realized. The staff and service was rally the shining gem: charming and effective, from Craig to Robin to our morning waitress in the restaurant. At night, the bar filled with the local crowd, which was nice. We worked in the bar, as it was not...

What a charming establishment. We had a lovely room with a king size bed on the third floor overlooking Downie Street. The room was spacious and full of character. The bed, my word! What a comfortable sleep. And they even have an elevator at the back of the restaurant so we could dine and then make our way back to...

Having visited Stratford many times, yet this was our first stay at Foster's Inn. What a delightful surprise. Other than having to park a block away, it was a wonderful 2-day stay. Service is wonderful, the room recently redecorated, price fairly average and convenience could not be better. The rooms are faurly spartan, breakfast is not included, but the restaurant...

We loved our stay at Fosters and enjoyed the restaurant as well. Beautifully located, spotlessly clean, wonderful food and great staff! We went to Stratford to see theatre and Fosters is right across the street from the Avon theatre. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Terrific place, wonderful restaurant, great food, warm welcoming staff. Room was large, bright, and clean. Place is in the center of things. the snug pub was a great place to end the day. The breakfast and the steak dinners are as good as it gets. Worth a visit.

I spent a lovely evening at Foster's Inn. The rooms are very spacious with wonderfully tall ceilings, large washrooms and plenty of power sockets. The staff were extremely welcoming and made my 85 year old mother feel most comfortable. The food was delicious and very reasonable in price. The public parking is close by and there never a problem parking...

At Foster's everyone who served us was bright, cheerful and helpful. The room was well appointed and restful. For theater-goers the location is ideal. The Avon and Studio venues are almost across the street. The Tom Patterson is a five minute walk. The Festival is a bit further but no more than a 15 or 20 minute walk. Foster's is...
