My husband and I have been staying here several times each summer for close to 10 years. We have witnessed the work that has gone into the motel to keep it up-to-date and comfortable and it shows. The grounds are lovely and private with a gazebo in the front as well as in the back next to the pool. The...

Lovely little motel with small but comfortable and very clean room. Room had a small bar fridge In it. Pretty pool, but it wasn't quite open yet. Quiet, cozy. Breakfast is simple but adequate. Owner, Ian is quietly friendly also. They've done a good job (I think it was a lot of work to update) and I'm sure it's a...

A short five minute drive to the Festival Theater, very comfortable rooms and extremely clean. The only thing that would make them even more perfect would be in-room coffee makers! Breakfast is basic, but fine. Very much a 'Bed and Breakfast" feel rather than a motel. Our place of choice for safety, cleanliness and coziness. Very friendly and supportive family...

My husband and I have been staying at the As You Like It since the 60's when I would take my English class students to the plays. The Stratford Festival is the town's key attraction, with four theaters presenting Shakespearean plays, musicals, classic plays and newer plays. My husband soon replaced my students and we have attended more than forty...

Had the most amazing cocktails here and ordered starters and main course each. I had king prawns which blew my mind and were within the top 10 of my starters ever! Let down thought by a Luke warm and pretty bland tiger prawn linguine. I was hoping for a slightly fiery well seasoned sauce with a portion of hot Al...

For the past 10+ years my husband and I have stayed at this family owned and run motel and not consider any other place. The premises are cleanwith a lovely pool area with barbecue area. The free continental breakfast is more than sufficient. During our time there we have become such good friends with the owner, that during off season...

My friend I stayed one night here while visiting Stratford to see a play. As You Like It is located a short drive (3 minutes) from the theatres and Main Street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The property is large, with a big front lawn that has a lovely gazebo, and a great pool area with lounge chairs, shady trees,...

We usually stay at this motel for at least one week in July and again in August, and have done so for many years. They book the same room for us, which makes it same like a home away from home. The friendly service and helpfulness is the best we have ever experienced in travelling. The quiet location means a...

Our second time staying here; once again, we're happy we did. Close driving to theaters, clean and quiet location, good sized rooms. Bathroom small, but adequate - sink in alcove within room. Very friendly. Quaint feeling, small cozy breakfast area in little room behind check-in area. Gazebo and outdoor pool. Great value for money in Stratford.

Our Book Group spent a couple of days in Stratford seeing plays and enjoying the area. I decided to take a chance on a small hotel on the edge of town that had very reasonable prices. Everyone was very pleased. The rooms were updated and very clean. It was in a park like setting and a short drive to the...
