During my stay, I wasn't feeling well. I had a terrible cough, as a result of my allergies. One of the housekeepers, Julie, heard me coughing from outside my room. She called my room, and told me that she heard me coughing, and had gotten me two bottles of water, and asked if i wanted them. I was rather pleasantly...

We had never been to the Renaissance before - and we had a wonderful time. There is nothing cooler than having a room right inside the dome! Next time we come when a game is on! The staff was wonderful and super helpful, and the location super convenient

Went for a Blue Jays baseball ballgame. So convenient to stay at Renaissance. Excellent customer service. Beautiful rooms. Some rooms overlook the ball field. Very nice hotel. We highly recommend staying here while visiting beautiful Toronto.

Really enjoyed our visit to Toronto and our stay at the Renaissance. The hotel is right downtown so easy to walk to CN Tower (good, but overpriced), Ripley's Aquarium (highly recommended!) and the Entertainment District's many restaurants and bars. The service at Arriba, the hotel restaurant, was outstanding - Alex was our breakfast server 2 days in a row and...

This was a wonderful and affordable place to stay for our trip to Toronto. It's an excellent location close to CN Tower, the aquarium and Blue Jays games. Very close to downtown as well. Everything you'll need is right there. Starbucks, restaurant and a bar/lounge area. The staff was delightful and always helpful.

The hotel was nice but so loud it was impossible to sleep, this is definitely a party hotel, asked to switch rooms at 800 pm and was told the hotel was full so they brought us ear plugs. Really bad experience and would not recommend if you want to actuAlly sleep

We booked a non-field view room to attend a birthday party in a room with a field view. We had a fantastic experience both with our room and the field view room. We were upgraded to an extended king (I think they call it that). We asked that our room be close to the party room and the staff bent...

Valet parking was $45, I think parking is a $30 parking nightmare anyways, so the $45 is money well spent. We had a room with 2 double beds with a field view. Room 494. We spent just over $550 Canadian on the room, but we were able to bring oodles of drinks and brought lots of food and snacks. The...

If you're going on a non-game day, definitely try to score a room with a view of the field - it's unreal! Game day would be awesome, but you'll be paying for it! The rooms were clean, bathroom large, beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet is expensive - $25 Parking is located at an underground garage - better directions to online would...

Lovely hotel with great views of the city. Our view from our room was facing the railway tracks! Restaurant was nice especially the views of the stadium. Shame there was not a game on. Comfy beds and a clean room.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
