Rooms overlooking Rogers Center. Next to CN Tower and Aquarium. Short walk to Centre Harbour. Had a great weekend with my grandson. Took in three games and watched parts of them from our room. Highly recommended .

I was here for the Nike Toronto run in June 2015. A friend and I split a room, and it was quite spacious - plenty of room for the two of us. But some of the missing "touches" were in the bathroom. There wasn't any hooks by the shower to hang up towels (seems trivial, but it turned out to...

Great location. Awesome view of the game. Rooms are nice. The staff was nice and ve ry helpful with great places to eat and directions on how to get around. We will be back next time with the kids. It seem to be a very family friendly hotel. We love and trust the Marriott brand

I planned a trip for my husband 40th....no children!! I planned for us to catch a baseball game and lots of sit down meals! I picked the Renaissance Marriott Toronto because their reputation and our previous experience with the Marriott brand. We checked in and to much surprise Katherine at the front desk up graded us to stadium room my...

The room was clean and comfortable, my disappointment lies in the service. I was in Toronto to run a race and asked for a late check out as I wasn't sure I'd be back from the race in time. I was told that because many runners were staying at the hotel, there would be no late check outs. I explained...

Thank you for your feedback SaltyHoney. I can appreciate that you would like a room/space to clean up after your race. As we were sold out, I am sorry that we were not able to accommodate a late checkout for all of the racers staying with us. As everyone booked individually and we did not have a group block for...

This is one of my favorite spots to go for a getaway. There is something very cool about being able to draw back the shades in your room and then watching a major league baseball game from the comfort of your room. My one minor complaint is I wish the front desk would have programs for the day's game available....

Dear John Z, Thank you for the positive review. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stadium room. I wanted to let you know that our Concierge is always willing and able to go into the stadium to get programmes for guests. It’s something she does quite often, you just have to let us know if you want one....

I recently went to toronto and stayed at the renaissance downtown Toronto. Hotel was nice, clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. I called ahead to request a room facing the field and they gave it to me with no resistance. I was able to watch a blue jays game from the comfort if my room. How cool is that!...

Excellent hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Got a great view of the rogers centre and although the blue jay's were playing away games we did get to see a sneak peak of the centre being used in preparation for the pan am games ceremony. We were in room 410 which was located away from the lifts making...

The hotel was very clean and inviting. Even in months in advance it is so hard to get a room overlooking the ballpark while a game goes on. We went in July and tried to book it in March and they said they were under construction. By the time we called back they said they were all booked up. We...

I wanted to give feedback during my recent stay in this property (June 9 to 17, 2015). I am a frequent business traveler and a loyal Marriott customer (Elite). Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
