We stayed here for a long weekend and really liked this hotel. We stayed in a renovated Junior suite, which was gorgeous. The bathroom was nice with a great shower and lots of counter space, which is nice for a relaxing weekend. Its close to lots of things to walk to. Plus the wifi signal was great, which is really...

We stayed for two nights in early November and the room was wonderful. The check in process was easy and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I loved that, although we were overlooking the trains, we couldn't hear anything of the hustle and bustle of the city from the 16th floor. We were able...

Rooms are clean. Not posh but very comfortable. Some rooms look a bit tired so be sure to ask for a renovated floor. Good in room amenities. Very friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location. Very close to subway.

The staff at the hotel are friendly. The breakfast fresh and healthy unless you have the waffles. The room, uninspiring and tired, no artwork, comfortable seat or charm. On the 22nd floor, there was constant external noise from the station, building works or something. The pool is heavily chlorinated and full of kids until after bedtime so no chance for laps....

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
