Everything about our stay here was great. We did not get to try the restaurant/room service because we felt the prices were unrealistic but there are a lot of other great restaurants nearby that still made this a great place. The beds were amazing and...More
The hotel is very well situated downtown Toronto and has spacious rooms with large windows. The rooms are perfectly equipped and the beds are super comfortable. Insulation is good, you do not hear much noise. When some drilling was made in an adjacent room for...More
Location of the hotel is good - in the financial district, just about 5 minutes from the union station, CN tower and ripley's aquarium of Canada.

OK, I admit it, this was a splurge afforded by collecting points with IHG, with an upgrade in light of IHG status - which also delivered free wifi. But more than that, if you ask these folk nicely ahead of time they do not disappoint....More
Cleanliness: our room was clean, and well set up. Mini bar stocked with everything from alcohol to chocolate bars (of course at ridiculous prices) but nice to have the option had we needed something quick.
Comfort: we have never slept better in another hotel!...More

Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe
Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.

Wasn't it wonderful? I noticed as well and asked the friendly staff on the concierge floor. They found out from maintenance and told me the ingredients, but I forgot. They did say the scent is actually pumped through the hotel via the air system. It's a custom scent. I'm sure if you contact them they'll help you out! The Ritz in Toronto and Montreal both generously gave me bottles of their scents.
