I stayed for 2 nights at the omni march 18-19-20 with my boyfriend. I am a travel agent, I've stayed at many hotels and this one is my fave in Toronto. If you stay on the 11th floor you will have access to the president club wich gives you a delicious complimentary breakfast, then drinks and apps complimentary as well...

We were pleased with the room being very spacious, clean and new. We would have loved to have a minibar with drinks provided. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the Easter brunch which was superb. I highly recommend to anyone. Great experience. We will be back.

King Edward is an upscale hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However it missed the mark when comparing to other high end hotels. Checking in took quite sometime to run my card that didn't work on their machine. I was given an upgrade to a beautiful and massive suite so bonus marks for that! There isn't a...

My experience with this hotel is based on several stays. It is in an ideal location, in downtown Toronto, and has a wonderful ambience and friendly staff; in particular the porter service. Rooms are comfortable and the hotel is a lovely balance of old world graciousness and modernity. My disquiet is regarding their Accounts Department. On a previous stay, I...

Had a nice baseball, nice dinner getaway at the king eddy. Walking distance to good restaurants and pubs. 25 min walk to the Jays game. Room was cozy and clean, comfy bed. This is a historic hotel, and the decor and architecture suggest this,

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
