We stayed here a few weeks ago when we were in town to watch a raptors game. The hotel is very nice and in a great location for transit. The subway station is location directly across the street so once you arrive and park in the hotel underground parking, there is no need to take your vehicle any further.

10/10 would NOT recommend this hotel, simply because of my experience on their malfunctioning elevator. We boarded with several people and all got stuck. The elevator constantly jolted up and then halted. Then it would drop down and halt for several minutes. We couldn't tell what floor we were on and we were all fearing the worst in there. Eventually,...

Definitely convenient to subway, restaurants and places to visit like the ROM. Bed, linens, pillow comfy, but I had issues with the "amenities". I was exhausted, but since the window treatments are sheer there was no way to darken the room so I could sleep well day or night. Wanted to soak my worn out & sore feet, but the...

Shopping, shopping, shopping, What a great city! This hotel is hard to navigate, the parking is underground beneath the hotel and very creepy! We had pigeons attack us when we went to our car in the morning and there is weird stuff hanging from the ceiling..dirty and unkept! The lobby is ....well shall I say, uninviting, the rooms were decent...

We used a limo to get to the hotel location and it was odd that our driver has trouble to locate the entrance. Once we were able to ener the lobby checking in was fast. The lobby is basic in appearance and usefulness. Elevators are tucked away and worked fine. There is no direct food sevice provided but a coffee...

We just needed a reasonably priced room near downtown. This room was reasonably priced and very close to the St. George subway stop. There was parking on-site ($22) which was handy, and you can leave your car there even after check-out time. Our room was rather basic, but clean and quiet even though you are right on Bloor St. There...

Stayed here for two nights on Business. This hotel offered no thrills which was fine. Plus points: - Central location, easy to find - Plenty of secure parking that could be charged to your room - Swift check in / check out process - Free WiFi that didn't time out Negative is too strong a word, as nothing was really...

Nice location to stay and explore Toronto. Rooms are not very spacious but good enough. The approach to room is very narrow. But overall service is nice. Staff are nice and cordial. They arrange for day trips for sightseeing. Of course they charge you. But helpful instead of you calling and finding out details. Plenty of eating places right below...

I usually go to this hotel when there is a convention in town and there are no others that I can afford. One night was outrageously expensive and the other night was ok. The hotel is getting tired. The room was clean but worn. The bed was saggy. I like the pillows. You get two soft and two firm. I...

Dear Michellesm2014, Thanks for opting to stay with us and going out of your way to share your thoughts. Even though I'm pleased at your approval of the comfort of our pillows, room cleanliness, and service from our housekeeping staff, it is disconcerting to know that think our hotel is a bit behind the times. I absolutely understand that not...

There was garbage still in the hotel room when we arrived. The room is very warm, the thermostat did nothing. All of the equipment in the fitness room was broken, all of it. It was a small room and there was no water in the fitness room. 22$ for parking. So not good value at 200$ per night.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
