This is a relatively small hotel, located in the heart of Toronto. Spent two nights at this location, on a business trip. Easily accessible from Billy Bishop Airport and Union Station. I had a single room, king size bed. The rooms have been recently renovated and have hardwood floors and contemporary furniture and decor. Upon arrival my room was spotless...

Decent place to stay, walking distance to many attractions, as well as public transportation. Clean, well maintained, with a Starbucks on site. Bed was comfortable. Option for rooms overlooking the harbor, for a price. Rogers Center, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, the harbor, Tim Horton's, grocery store, various take outs and pubs, among other things, within a few minutes walk.

Recently visited this hotel on a weekend. A great choice when visiting Toronto for a few days, especially if you are going to a Blue Jays game or to the CN-tower. The location is a bit further away from other central areas of Toronto, and the subway is a 10 minute walk. The hotel was for us very clean, and...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
