The staff was kind and helpful from reception to housekeeping. I asked for a sunny room however the one assigned was adequate in terms of my request. The room was clean and well maintained during my visit and the wifi was reliable. My only recommendation is that hotels at this price point should have in room microwaves and mini refrigerators....

Stayed here in October 2016. Staff and atmosphere were wonderful from the first moment. We had an upgrade and as well as champagne and fruit in our room on arrival the view was magnificent - allowing me to lay in bed and see the CN Tower in all its glory. The room was spacious, even though there was my husband...

Treated like royalty and pampered like a movie star. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are the best in the biz. Location is central to all things great in downtown Toronto. Worth a visit even just for the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Did I mention the bed? The Best!

Been here a few times in both summer and winter, for work and leisure and honestly, have never been impressed. The foyer is impressive and the location is great. But the rooms are small, the amenities are outdated and for the same money, you can do much better.

Spent 5 nights in Toronto to sightsee and mainly to see my beloved Blue Jays. Sadly they lost all 3 games that I attended.... I picked this SPG property due to my past experience with Sheraton Hong Kong and the fact that it has recently been renovated. This is a big hotel with events and meetings going on constantly so...

1) Our room was not cleaned and made up on day 1 of our stay. 2) When asked, I was told that I checked in sometime at 3am on 04/14th, therefore the systems considered your room to be clean. This was literally what I was told by the manager. Please note, I had paid full day rate for the day...

This was the first time I stayed at this hotel. My husband and I were looking to stay somewhere central to shopping, dining and nightlife. The Sheraton was everything we wanted! The rooms were a great size, the beds were very comfortable and clean. We booked a standard king bed and upon check-in, the very friendly representative upgraded us to...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
