If you are an Opera fan then staying over right across the street makes for a perfect evening. The Hotel Restaurant "Tundra" caters to Opera goers with a special menu on Opera Nights. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the menu.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and each time find a clean and comfortable room and very helpful front desk staff. I am a revisiting business traveler and will continue to use this hotel given all the positive experiences I have had.

This hotel has a great location in the downtown area. The staff and room prices are great. Things to be aware of are that while the hotel rooms are modern, they are also on the edge of requiring some basic updates. However, there is always some sort of renovations taking place. The local restaurant and lounge are expensive and nothing...

Spent 3 nights here on recent business trip. Would recommend it to anyone on a business trip in Toronto. Efficient and courteous service, spacious modern and clean rooms, and very convenient downtown location.

As always, this hotel is perfectly positioned in the downtown area. The check in process is an easy and pleasant experience. The rooms have always be wonderful with fluffy pillows and warm down comforters.

This was a time just for us. Date night.lots of restaurants in the area shopping is near by and can be accessed by the "bath". So a coat is not necessary. It's right in the middle of the entertainment district

The hotel, rooms and staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. And it was. Our only disappointment was the experience we had at the restaurant for breakfast, I will say the food was good but value for money was not up to par.

Excellent rooms, nice scenic elevators (if you get to use it), professional as a Hilton should be expected to be. Extremely clean everything and polite service personnel - which, at one occasion, could have shown a bit more empathy when a problem arose.

Stayed at this location without having to use a car at all! Walking distance from the mall, China Town and also CN Tower. Their rooms were updated and clean. They have also an indoor swimming pool that is heated and they have the outdoor swimming pool connected to it that's also accessible year round. Didn't get a chance to try...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
