First of all the location is perfect! Steps away from Queen St west where there is lots of action! The rooms were very "metro" clean and even had kitchenettes! Sorry but I don't even think that the Sheraton downtown has a fridge when we went! Beds were super comfortable (even for twins) Front desk was friendly and informative. Will definitely... More

It is hard to figure out where to start reviewing this place. They advertise their rooms as recently renovated, but fail to mention that the renovation was done very cheaply and quickly. There are gaps between the laminate on the floor and between the appliances and the furniture. It just looks like someone that did the renovation did not care... More

1) the location & neighborhood are not appealing (i spite of being closed to attractions) 2) they want a deposit which expire... a week after you leave 3) TV did not work in one room, and also not in a room they try to move us to. 4) smell of cigarettes etc. Do yourself a favor and avoid it

Remember The movie Joe's Apartment? And i'm staying right now here! Worst place ever! And the people at the front desk aren't of any help at all! For a freaking "Do not distrub" sign they almost had to move a mountain!

Stayed for a total of 2 nights in this accomodation during our visit of Toronto. The Studio 6 is located in a building which seemed to have been a normal apartment building in earlier times which has now been renovated and remodelled to a hotel/motel combination (however, many signs are still pointing to it's history e.g. the very old elevator... Great Great hotel for the price. I believed it's recently renovated, the building looks old but the room we had was great. The room is exactly shown as the picture. Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Toronto's main Chinatown has the honor of being the largest in North America. Gaping down across Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, the area is a wonderful medley of shops and restaurants, busy signs and bright red gates, a destination for foodie fun. Chinatown's streets are always bustling, packed with people and outdoor stalls hawking fresh produce and products. The restaurants and authentic marketplaces that shoulder in against each other display shining roast ducks and menus studded with dumplings and noodle bowls. The air is pervaded with music. different languages, and the smell of fried food and mouth-watering desserts. Chinatown's restaurants represent a broad range of fare, from traditional Szechuan and Shanghai foods, to other Asian delicacies, including some of the top Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean spots in the city.
