If your looking for a great location downtown, this hotel is perfect! It is within walking distance to the Eatons centre(about 6 mins), shopping, tons of restaurants (fine dining/fast food), theatre.... We took a cab to the CN tower & the aquarium and it cost $10 each way. The hotel lobby is nice and modern but the hotel rooms, elevators and...

I don't mind paying for a fair price for a hotel room as long as it's clean, quiet and has a convenient location. The Chelsea hits all the marks. Rooms in the North tower were renovated. They aren't huge rooms but do the trick. Parking was a little pricey at just shy of $40 with tax per day. It gave...

4 day trip to Toronto wanted downtow hotel that we could take our dog and was kid friendly. The hotel was very busy due to March break but staff kept things well organized. Easy outdoor area to take our dog to the washroom and off leash dog park only 10 min walk away. Kids loved the pool and games room....

We paid for a deluxe room which is one step below the "best rooms in the hotel" and it was very small. Had nails sticking out of the wall. Was loud from the street and personal seemed to care very little for the conditions and treatment of their guests. Didn't even stay the whole night. Ended up leaving at 130am....

This hotel is a little known gem in the heart of Toronto. Every March break we take the kids and they love it as the hotel is transformed into a March Break wonderland from morning until night. Excellent staff. Very affordable. DON'T EAT AT MARKET GARDEN! Very frustrating. But everything else is awesome.

Not worth the $300 plus for 1 night you have to book a swimming time in the pool, hot tub was full of babies in diapers not very sanitary, arcade room was half out of order. We took our grandson there for March Break getaway originally booked 2 nights but left after 1 night for cost issues

Awesome children activities... Face painting, magic show, mario kart etc..downside if you are at 4th floor onwards the free wifi is not accessible. Better do the Uber food or skip dishes more cheaper than their garden market.

Nice hotel and very friendly staff! Great amenities for kids. The bed, pillows & bedding are incredibly comfortable! Best hotel pizza I have ever had! Close to all tourist attractions, with affordable taxi rides.

downtown Toronto in the middle of a blizzard we swam with a view of CN Tower, lounged in the hot tub and met international & local colleagues in the Garden Tourism Industry. Hotel staff were helpful with directions to local restaurants and tourist attractions

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
