The hotel is located in convenient walking distance to the major exhibition venues and the large mall on Younge St.. It is on a quite side Stree somewhat abutting Toronto city hall and a block off of University Avenue and Dungas St. The rooms were average bland standard rooms- TV, king bed, small bath room, with a modest free standing...

Lovely clean rooms with exceptional views, great staff and prime location downtown. Parking is reasonable and accessible, very nice rooms. Odd to say but great elevators, most dowtown hotels are always packed, never a problem at this hotel.

As per Doubletree policy, you're greeted with a warm cookie upon arrival. And they tell you, "We make it right, if you need anything. Let us know." As usual, I figure, great slogan, but they don't mean it. Except here they do. I came down with the flu the evening I arrived. The front desk gave me honey for my...

Fantastic staff & clean and cozy hotel. Will definitely be coming back! The warm cookie was delicious upon check-in, as well as I was delighted to find more goodies in my room with a personalized card once I got there. Was these additional touches that helped the experience overall.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
