I stayed at the Toronto Plaza Airport Hotel last weekend and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised...after reading the negative reviews posted on Tripadvisor, I would have cancelled my booking if not for the "No Cancellation" clause. The reviews for this hotel were terrible and we totally expected that we would regret staying here. Happily, this was not...

What can I say? It was a place to sleep. That's about it. Still, I wouldn't recommend the Toronto Plaza at all. What you see in the pictures is not what you get. We had read the reviews, and hoped for the best. No pool, no wifi. Room smelt of strong baby powder when we arrived. We found out why,...

Checked in and were given a room on the fourth floor. The hallway was badly beaten up but we thought it was part of the renovations. Opened the door to our room and it was horrendous. The carpet was dirty and peeling away at the edges of the wall. The bathroom was disgusting and looked as if it had never...

We lasted about 10 minutes in this hotel before we made them drive us back to the airport, where we would rather sleep on the floor. Walls were falling off, no lights, garbage on the floor. Loud from people living there and just overall DISGUSTING. Would give a negative rating if I could.

from the minute we entered car park we had misgivings. Entered hotel and decided to give it a chance. Had booked 2 rooms and called to make sure they were together. Carpet in corridor on way to room was absolutely disgusting with black stains everywhere. Our rooms were not together. First room was not even cleaned. Beds still unmade etc....

Had to change room...air conditioner not working. Next stay changed room because it was dark and dirty. This hotel needs a good cleaning, and drapes and bedspreads need to be replaced. Hotel advertised breakfast included in price of room but there was no breakfast and no discount for it. The pool was not up and running. I booked through Booking.com...

We stayed there the night before a trip to Barbados and on our return also. The building is solid but in much need of repair and updating. Very large complex but a bit dingy. Parking lot poor condition, door to building from lot no lock steps in need of repair, food available but just OK, bar fit but many locals....
