I have been switching more of my stays to this hotel as I travel constantly to Toronto for work. This is mainly as they have such well rounded customer service. There was an issue on the floor I was staying with a guest smoking, not the hotel's fault at all, and they really were kind in trying to solve it...

I absolutely love The Ritz Toronto. I love the ambiance, decor, service, spa and restaurant. Once you walk in- the service is out of this world. The manager will introduce himself, the staff will wish you a happy birthday. Everything was wonderful during my weekend stay. Any excuse to go back! 5/5

Gorgeous hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms. Amazing beds and pillows. Wonderful service. 5 star experience. Good location close to wide variety of entertainment. Food was superb. Everything there is pricy, but they do go the extra mile to earn every dollar

The mattress were not fine at all, I have 5 days of pain on my neck and sleep maybe 4 hrs a night, because of the poor quality of the mattress...The sofa bed also were very poor, and thin... This location is more for business than for families...

Many hotels give their whole hand away at the start, but the Ritz-Carlton has a way of continually enticing you and seemingly ‘upping the bar’ with each encounter. The staff, service, amenities, club lounge...all spectacular and I could write a novel of wondrous things about each one. That being said, the Club Lounge access is well worth the upgrade. Amenities...

Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for a 5 day trip to celebrate our anniversary. This hotel provides an exceptionally friendly and professional service. The location is very central with everything in town easily accessible. The rooms are clean and up to date. We booked a room with "Club access" which turned out to be excellent value for money. Basically it gives...

spent the weekend with my family and had a very enjoyable experience. The service was outstanding and it was hard to leave to the hotel to enjoy the rest of Toronto. The floor/room attendant was the friendliest person we've met in a hotel!

The Ritz Toronto is a very nice hotel Great bar with fabulous drinks. Very friendly staff. Rooms were very nice but I expected them to be more spacious and a tad more luxurious. Overall it was a nice property but not sure if I would stay again if I want a higher end hotel downtown.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
