Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

The hotel is small and cozy, and the staff (in all departments) are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are modern and clean, and the technology that is incorporated is quite handy. The area is fairly walkable, with many restaurant options. You may want to bring ear plugs to sleep

Good hotel but the restaurant and bar is closed at the moment, so you have to go to Wahlbergs for food or drinks next door. No mention of this anywhere. The room was good though, really nice bed and bathroom and the service was excellent. Expensive considering there is no bar or

Highly recommended when in Toronto. Close to everything you need in the downtown area. Two new restaurants are opening soon, which will make the hotel an even better stay. The rooms are well laid out with plenty of space.

Are there blow dryers in the bathrooms?
Yes. Our room also had a beautiful hard-wired electronic make-up mirror mounted to the wall. I can honestly say one of the best appointed baths I have seen to date in a hotel. Most hotel rooms don't think about a woman needing good lighting. ;)
