You must reserve parking in advance, as they do not have adequate space. We parked a block away and it was about the same price. Everyone was so accommodating adn friendly, the bar and restaurant are patronized by regulars and locals, in addition to hotel guests and the food was really good. The area is still in development, but there are lots of great spots to dine within walking distance. Most things you'd want to visit as a tourist are not walkable and driving there is a nightmare. Parking gets pricey too, nowhere is it free,

I celebrated my daughter's Quinceañera at this very trendy location. The Drake's attention to detail was spot on. I had 150 guests in the north and south lounge and everything went as planned. I would like to especially thank Emma Mansell who helped me coordinate the whole event. Emma's tips and guidance throughout this whole process was what made this event smooth and an absolute dream. I fell in love with the Queen West vibe and I wanted to thank all the Drake staff members that made this event a hit! I can't put into words how good the food and beverages were, along with an unmatched attention from the servers. None of my guests waited long for anything they asked for. I'd also like to personally thank the bartender DJ who is amazing. My guests all agree that he is professional, speedy and very cool! The chef did a phenomenal job with all my dinner options including the freshest passed canapes and vegan dish for my guests. I was a little bit uncomfortable with how small the space looked when it was filled with tables but once the room flipp happened the dance floor was just as much space needed for a crazy dance party. Additionally, the security team members Tony, Richard, and Liza who made my event feel super private and safe.The security team also helped the other staff members in any way they could. This team effort really won me and my guests over. Liza was especially attentive and was my right hand man throughout the whole event. Nothing went wrong and o couldn't be happier! Welcomed before you even enter... When I see Tony working out front of the Drake I see a guy who is constantly brokering the relationship between the Drake and Queen Street. Both the Drake and the street have their own strong Personalities. Personalities that are constantly changing and Tony effortlessly fits in with each one, he's personable, thoughtful, so easy to talk with and at the same time he clearly is very aware of everyone outfront and what's the surrounding tone managing all situations. He is proud of what he does at the same time enjoying connecting with the people on the street. Connection is not easy, to him it is easy. I can't think of a nicer way to be welcomed into a hotel, bar, restaurant, music venue or welcomed in the neighborhood.

My stay at The Drake Hotel Toronto was nothing short of exemplary. The staff there were friendly and welcoming. Every detail attended to for an amazing four days there. From the complimentary glass of bubbly as I sat to eat to the delicious meals and incredible servers! I highly recommend a stay there if you’re in Toronto!

The hotel was really good and confortable. And everything is so pretty. I want to know their mattress brand to buy it for my home. Everything was clean. You need to take the stair for one wing if the hotel. I had only a carry on so okay. The staff is nice and the lobby is beautifully decorated.

Amazing stay at this hotel. If you’re going to Toronto, I highly recommend it! It’s located in an amazing neighborhood with many restaurants/bars just a walk or an Uber ride away. Rooms are clean and modern. No issues with noise and staff were extremely friendly. The food and beverages at the hotel restaurant were lovely. They also have parking available if needed. Don’t look any further for your next Toronto stay :)

Has a fabulous dinner the other night with colleagues. Amazing service and dinner was fantastic. Their Sushi was delish as were their cocktails. Genuine Hospitality and service! Great menu and love the Lobby Bar in the Modern Wing.

The hotel and surrounding neighborhood is bursting with character, which I absolutely love. The service was extremely attentive and the room was very comfortable- I was lucky enough to be upgraded. That being said, it’s wildly overpriced for the level of comfort/luxury. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice hotel but $430/night (USD) for a room that was supposed to be smaller than the one we got upgraded to is absolutely not worth it in my opinion.

I loved my stay! The Drake is what it says it is, and that’s rare! I’ve stayed all over the world and this is a great example of a classic urban gem for Toronto! HUGE SHOUTS to the staff especially Xzennis, who was honestly the example of great service, humble, attentive, real and made a difference in my stay. Feeling valued as a guest these days isn’t easy for any F & B or Hotel, and it’s clear that The Drake has a benchmark for hiring good people to do just that! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Will be back soon!
