I stayed at this property recently and was very pleased with everything. The room was great! Check in was painless and quite enjoyable, very personable Front Desk staff. I have already booked another stay at this Hotel. Looking forward to checking out more of the services and food on the next visit .

Stayed here just one night (this time, been there before). My wife and I like to disappear into the city every so often for a night away. We do a bit of shopping, then visit some favourite haunts. This hotel is close to most of what we like. The restaurants and St. Lawrence Market are in walking distance. This time...

Hi Scott H and thank you for taking the time to post a review! Your points write like a brochure so thanks so much. Our location is unbeatable and the suites are "over-equipped" for shorter stays. Construction and parking are Toronto's greatest challenges but I'm glad they didn't influence your opinion negatively. Cheers, Evan

We picked a hotel that was close to everything. The price was great. The rooms here are small, but they made excellent use of the space. The kitchen area with a little bar space was great and would be perfect for someone staying who wants to cook. With the St Lawrence Market only a few blocks away, it would be...

I stayed here for two nights on a recent business trip and had an excellent stay. The front desk staff were very pleasant and checked me in quickly. The suite I stayed in was very clean and had a separate bedroom, making it feel almost like an apartment; I would recommend this hotel for longer stays. Having a kitchenette is...

I typically stay at one of the larger hotels near the convention center, but I found a great deal on The Executive Cosmopolitan and figured I'd give it a shot. I'll admit, I was skeptical when I arrived as the location is a side street that I was not familiar with, and the lobby was very small. But the room...

The boyfriend and I decided to take a relaxing "staycation" in Toronto, and we decided to get a hotel to make it feel more like a trip. The lady at the front desk was really friendly and cheerful, so that was a good start. We had a corner one-bedroom tranquility suite/apartment, so our balcony was larger than some of the...

Hi dt_inthecity and thank you for the great review! The tranquility suites are fantastic and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I should point out that we do include complimentary slippers in the closet but I will see how we might make that more obvious for our guests. Thank you for this feedback and look forward to your next stay...

This hotel is a class act, with (very!) attentive staff in the lobby and spacious suites. They offered to help us book a trip to Niagara Falls. We got the one-bedroom which was the size of an apartment. It had a kitchenette and lots of storage! The only downside was that there was no view.

Hello screwvy and thank you so much for the great review. We like to think that our huge suites compliment our team members (rather than vice versa) so your feedback is much appreciated. Because we are right in the heart of downtown Toronto it is impossible to avoid "city" views despite having 27 floors. That said, you might consider requesting...

The hotel was converted from a studio apt. to a high rise and the suites are well appointed with kitchens, mini bar, extra pillows, nice toiletries and a good bed. There is no seating and thus it would be better for singles.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location within walking distance of the attractions downtown that interested us. Easy access from airport. Room could have used more storage space for clothes, etc. The microwave in the kitchenette did not heat on any setting. The staff looked into the problem, but it was not fixed during our stay.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
