We booked our stay online, and we were pleasantly surprised at our room. We got one of their suite rooms, and they had a kitchenette, along with a countertop and a living room. The kids had fun there, and it made for a comfortable stay in Toronto

My husband and I stayed at this property for 1 night over the family day weekend. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to all downtown attractions. The building was clean and features a very nice on site steak house. The manager, Gina, is what really exceeded our expectations. She took the time to chat with us...

This hotel was everything we needed and more for our weekend stay. The only downside was that their parking was full when we arrived and the desk clerk told me we would never find parking in downtown on a weekend. However, we found parking one block away. Other than that it was a great hotel. Perfect location, only a 5...

The room is really nice and modern. For a downtown hotel, there is an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. There was even a washer and dryer! The location is super convenient for downtown. Don't bring too many clothes as the closet is tiny.

Stayed here for two nights. Great location and close to a subway station. Also close to the downtown airport, subways, and shopping. Liked the kitchenette. Price is average for downtown hotels. Nice room with a view.

It was great to have the little kitchen - although I never used it. Appreciated that there was an ironing board and iron. Wish there had been a bathtub - but the shower was nice and big as a result of it replacing a tub. I found the laminate flooring cold and a bit noisy - but they provided slippers...

This was a very nice hotel, super central to anything you need like Union station, St Lawrence Market, The Eaton centre, ACC all I ether walking distance or a super cheap uber ride away, rooms were a decent size, very new nice kitchen, and bathroom was very nice too, it's a tall and skinny hotel so there were only 5...

Front desk staff were friendly and professional. Good location, just steps to King subway station. Room is a former condo complete with bedroom, washer-dryer, kitchen and sitting area. Room 2204 has a good city view and a balcony. Bedroom blinds didn't fully cover the windows. The suite has laminate floor - didn't feel like the floor was vacuumed or swept...

My husband and I recently visited Toronto to attend a concert at Massey Hall. I booked everything online so wasn't really sure what to expect. Pictures don't always tell the whole story. This was the case with this hotel--the hotel and staff are 100X better than what you see online! The suite we stayed in was recently updated and it...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
