Mr. Tan was a great host. the place was clean and cozy and relatively close to a variety of sites to see. We had a pleasant welcome and he even pointed out some efficient ways to get to some of the local attractions.

A very comfortable stay at Mr Tan's B&B. A homely and pleasant place, with a modern, clean aspect throughout. We stayed two nights. Enjoyed meeting other guests at the breakfast table, with a fine breakfast served personally by Mr Tan, a very friendly and helpful host. Well maintained modern grand piano in the main room was a bonus!

Large room with great lighting, both natural and artificial. Very clean and organized. Breakfast is always fresh and ready for you, served by your most gracious host Albert. The location is wonderful on a quiet street and so very close to Christie Subway Station.

A Suite Dreams is very comfortable, immaculately clean and welcoming. Mr. Tan offers just the right mix of friendliness and respect for privacy. And the best home made soya milk! The Christie subway station is just around the corner, as well as shops, restaurants and a park. U of T is within a 45 minute walk, or a short subway...

A lovely inviting place to stay. Mr. Tan is a gracious and welcoming host. He most generously helped me find a second place to stay when he was already committed to previous guests. My room was very clean and beautifully appointed. The breakfast meal was excellent with several choices. I recommend Suite Dreams highly!

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
