We stayed here for 1 night on a trip to Prince Edward Island. The location is excellent, in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. The location also gives guests much appreciated quiet and privacy. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and tailored to our needs.
This inn is a former residence converted to an inn. The room we had was extremely small and the bed too soft for our liking. The bathroom was ridiculously small. I'm a small person and even for me, I was not able to turn around in it. The breakfast however, was excellent. It was made to order with about 4 choices. The location of this inn was within a few blocks of downtown but certainly within walking distance. The cost for the accommodation was on the high side so didn't feel the value was there.
I really enjoyed my stay at The Harbour House. Nice and cozy rooms. I got an upgrade from the Basement Studio to a room on the 3rd floor. Great breakfast with music playing in the dining room. Perfect way to start your day in Charlottetown.
Spent Thanksgiving long weekend at this beautiful property. This was the first time I stay in a B&B. The experience was surprisingly amazing and total exceeded my all-time expectation. The Harbour House is definitely a very sophisticated B&B which has wonderful service, friendly staff, and clean rooms. The house is absolute beautiful and the property itself can be a tourist site in my opinion. The three-story property has in total 21 rooms. We stayed at the South room which is at the top floor. This a lovely, quiet and private bedroom. We absolutely enjoyed our staying in this room. The House made us feel like staying home. When we checked in, the staff showed us around the house and explained/introduced the facilities, services, and amenities that we were welcome to use. What surprised me the most is their full breakfast service. When the staff told us to they would serve us breakfast in the morning during our check-in, we didn't know what kind of breakfast they were going to serve until we sat in the dinning room and made our orders from a breakfast menu. They actually served us real breakfast, i.e. fresh fruit with omelette, pancakes, or egg Benedict etc. How lovely is that! A nice day starts with a good breakfast. The location is really good as well. The House locates in a quiet neighborhood. The Victoria park is close by, 3-5 minutes drive. To downtown Charlottetown is like 5-8 minutes drive (depends on the traffic). Both Victoria Park and DT are walking distance. We would definitely stay with them again if we ever visit Charlottetown.…
Room was very comfy and cozy with twin beds. Large shower, but no tub which was fine by me. We only stayed one night but breakfast was amazing and included in very reasonable price. Staff was very helpful.
