The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. But there was only 1 chair and this hotel is supposed to be for a lower budget stay. We didn't think it was affordable enough without a tv. 1 night was over $160, which was comparable to another hotel in the area that had breakfast, tv and a pool. We chose not to stay there because of poor reviews

Hi Denise, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review regarding your recent stay with us at The Arts Hotel. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our standard of cleanliness and our comfortable beds. Since we are a minimalist hotel, we had to make sure we had comfortable beds for our guests. Our front desk team would've been happy to bring you an additional chair to your room if we were aware of this request, my apologies. We hope to see you again in the future!

My first night in Charlottetown, landed at midnight via a long flight all way down from Vancouver and Montreal, I can say that the staffs took my heart and nailed on their first impression. Extremely kind with their behaviours, starting from the night agent Karan- he immediately assisted me unload all heavy luggages from taxi to carrying up to the room. The next morning the lovely lady Emily was very kind and offered a late checkout- she was top on anticipating guest needs and was very informative about the locale. The beds were comfortable too. Overall great stay with exceptional service.

The Arts Hotel is conveniently located beside the Trailside where I took in a show. I normally stay at their sister hotel The Holman Grand (which offers more amenities than The Arts Hotel) but like the Holman, the rooms were extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff very pleasant.

I had a room on the 2nd floor above the concert hall. The sound was unbearably loud, it sounded like the show was in my room. Not only was the music extremely loud, but I could hear individual conversations and clapping. It was impossible to sleep before the show ended. I could not even hear the movie I had on via my headphones because the music was louder than my headphones at full volume. To make things worse, I’ve tried to contact the hotel re my stay. I’ve sent two emails and left a message by phone. And ZERO response. I would never recommend this hotel. The unsatisfactory stay was one thing, but a complete avoidance of addressing my concerns is totally unprofessional.

Hello Erica, thank you for your review on your recent stay with us. I am sorry for my delay in getting back to you, I have been on vacation for the past 3 weeks. We appreciate your feedback. While we advertise The Trailside Music hall and The Salvador Dali Cafe on our website, we understand some noise may carry to the rooms above. We are looking into this matter as we do not want our guests to feel they can't get a good night's rest when staying with us. Unfortunately for this situation, we were sold out on those days and we couldn't change you to another room. I sincerely apologize. With being a relatively new hotel, we rely on feedback from our guests so we can address any areas of concern, make adjustments as needed, and see how we can better provide our guests a great stay. I have searched the front desk inbox for your emails, but I have sadly not found them. If you could please forward these emails to my personal email at office@theartshotel.ca, I would be happy to further help you with this situation. Thank you, I look forward to hearing back from you.

This was a fabulous stay. The staff were so helpful and kind. The lounge was a nice touch. We were able to hang out with our friends from other rooms in a common space. We were there to see Allen Snow and the Quorum at the Trailside (the music hall in the hotel) and it was FANTASTIC.

This was my second stay at the Arts Hotel in 2 months. I LOVE it! it's cute, cozy and right in the middle of town. You can easily walk anywhere for great food and entertainment. Although my first thought was "they don't have TV's in the room??" I actually enjoy it! I'm able to relax and visit the town better than to crash in my room. Would and still recommend this hotel to anyone I speak to :) As well as it's pet friendly, so very cute to meet dogs in the lobby.

Wonderful stay at The Arts Hotel. Staff were very kind and room very clean. No tv or phone in room, but internet was fast and efficient! The lounge was huge and if you wanted to watch tv or unwind, seating was plentiful and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Arts Hotel in Charlottetown. There is no TV, or coffee maker in the room, but there is a communal room with TV, a kitchen area, and coffee machines. We loved that it was within walking distance of everything downtown. I would definitely stay here is I returned to Charlottetown.

We stayed here for the first time last night and it was wonderful!! Very friendly front desk attendants when we checked in and out, very comfortable bed, all around a lovely place to stay. Stayed at the The Arts Hotel in Charlottetown as I was attending my father's funeral in the city. My stay coincided with Hurricane Iona. Team mates at the hotel were professional before, during , and after the Hurricane. They were positive and met me with a smile. Did what they could as they themselves were without power too. I will stay there again.
