We arrived at Hillhurst Inn only to find out we had been switched to Faiholm. (My email was off to avoid international connections). Not knowing what to expect, but certainly needing a room we walked a couple of doors down to another beautiful mansion. OMG, somebody was looking out for us! Fairholm is Stunningly Beautiful. From the moment we walked...

This Inn is located in downtown, Charlottetown, P.E.I. It is stunning both inside and out! Perfect for a weekend getaway or for a family celebration. I have stayed several times. I also got married there 13 years ago, it was an incredible setting for a family wedding, The immediate family spent the night and we had a beautiful brunch the...

We stayed for 4 nights. The staff with the owner where always there for our needs (how to put the TV on, explain how to get to their dinning room). The room was very quite and clean. We where on the second floor with a deck and nice view of their garden. The food for breakfest was very good this...

We stayed at the Hillhurst property owned by Fairholm and it was lovely. Knowing that downtown Charlottetown could cause sleeping issues (street noise, etc) it was surprising how quiet it was. There was a little issue with our bed (loose headboard) - a quick mention of it in the morning and they were AMAZING. Assessed that it should be repaired...

If travelling to PEI and Charlottetown in the fall be careful to not under estimate occupancy at this time of year - we did. Likely the reason we found this property at the last minute was their pricing point. We were happy with this property - an old historic building with wonderful antiques and architecture. We stayed in the Fitzroy...

This was the perfect to explore PEI! We had a beautiful suite, large, clean, and romantic! This was our honeymoon trip across eastern Canada and we really wanted to stay in historic properties during the trip. We were not disappointed!! We walked through the front door and the inn keeper greater us and knew who we were without asking. Location...

We enjoy staying in beautifully restored, period properties. So when we saw that Fairholm Inn was advertised as a 5 Star rated property, we did not hesitate to book a stay for our anniversary. When we arrived we saw that it was indeed a period property. However, the suite we were allocated was on the ground floor and was clearly...

The Inn consists of many outbuildings. When we arrived, we didn't really know where to register. Upon finding the right place, we were shown to a newer building on the grounds and our second story suite. The suite was very adequate. Nothing to differentiate it from other rooms we occupied during our trip. Breakfast was in another building. It was...

Charlottetown is a quaint and small town to explore. Fairholm Inn is the perfect central location to walk the town. Close to the waterfront, theatre and restaurants. Just park and walk. Quality of the room was perfect. We stayed on the top floor and had a spacious and luxurious room. Breakfast was served in the main dining room and was...

Fairholm Inn is not as seems in reviews. Old and dilapidated. Other two approximating by same owners have properties that are updated.and offer very reasonable options. Staff is very helpful and accommodating--A+ in that experience. Easy parking.
