What a hidden gem! This beautiful property is cosy, cute, quaint and comfortable. The room was large and beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was a nice size with everything we needed. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting and breakfast was amazing! The comfort is surpassed only by the cuisine which is surpassed only by the...

I've stayed in different independent hotels all over the world for months and never write reviews, but this place is so good I had to write about it! The owners really go above and beyond to take care of your needs before you even think to ask. They're very talkative, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations about anything you might...

In a hurry and picked an Inn close to my venue. I didn't expect much more that surface charm. Checked into an interesting enough looking place, so what? I probably made a mistake and would have to just live with it. Met the hostess Shelley, told her I was looking for a good Asian restaurant and was shown to my...

I really can't say enough good things about this establishment and the owners. Stayed here for a couple of days (wish it could've been longer!). Shelley & Gary - very friendly, helpful and VERY knowledgeable hosts. Both born & bred PEI'ers so don't hesitate to ask. Shelley provided ample suggestions as to where to eat, what to see and why...

I have stayed at Colonial Charm many times, from renting the condo unit along with rooms on the second floor. If you are looking to vacation in a home away from home, look no further! Nothing beats sitting out on the deck with a glass...ok ok ok ... a bottle of wine after a long day of sightseeing enjoying the...

There are tons of cute bed & breakfasts and inns in Charlottetown, but why would you want to stay anywhere else!? Owner and host Shelley goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. The home really does have the original "colonial charm"; with comfortable and beautifully appointed rooms. The homemade pastries and full hot breakfasts are phenomenal....

We stayed here while visiting Charlottetown. Great hosts, very cordial with lots of suggestions, whether for things to do or places to eat. The Inn does have charm and is very close to Confederation Centre, all kinds of restaurants, and the waterfront. There is a really nice walk down to and around the water front just by turning right when...

We wanted a room in a nice cozy inn to spend the night after a friend's wedding, rather than travel the hour+ home. The Colonial Charm Inn far exceeded our expectations! Cozy is an understatement - we were surrounded in historic charm. The breakfast was an absolutely amazing gourmet surprise, and there was wonderful company, conversation, and abundant laughter to...

Myself and two girlfriends stayed last week. Shelley gave us very helpful tips about walking around Charlottetown. Bonus was that the Inn was so close to water and downtown attractions. She also highlighted on a map a very scenic route that took us to small villages and beautiful beaches. Lobster dinner on route was also a bonus. Thanks Shelley for...

2 weeks and several B and B's after leaving Reg and Shelley my husband is still raving about the Inn. Its a beautiful old home with owners who are gracious and friendly. Our breakfasts were second to none with the potato pie and omelette topping the meals we had on our trip. Little touches like the wine glasses and complimentary...
