We stayed here for a week in August while visiting family. We didn’t know it was the CFB Summerside when we booked so pulling into the property was very cool! There’s a drive in at the front of the property and some old planes. The airport hangers are in the back ground by the ocean. It was an old Air Force base. There’s several training facilities in the community that we walked around and peaked in on. The rooms were good sized and the beds were sooooooo comfy!! The restaurant we never made it as we were out exploring and visiting family. The conference and banquet Center was huge. The staff was absolutely amazing! The nicest hotel staff we have ever encountered!! Staying in old barricks was definitely something I’ll never forget. It was like being being there in wartime but with technology! Wifi was free and worked everywhere we were. Over all a really cool experience and we will come back!

The front desk staff & manager were very welcoming & helpful when we arrived and whenever we needed something. The room is a converted military barracks- nothing at all wrong with that. The biggest single issue we had was the lack of proper ventilation: no bathroom fan. There was such a high humidity level even with the window open & AC running that the moisture in our room's carpet made our feet wet. We had to wear sandals. When we did laundry the clothes were never completely dry because of the recirculated moisture in the building. As well, our AC made a clanging noise for several hours after it was shut off for the evening. Until these issues are taken care of I would not stay here again.

This was a neat place to stay. The room was equipped with everything a regular hotel room has. There is wifi, coffee/tea maker, fridge, cable tv, hairdryer, safe. There is an onsite restaurant and a fitness area. There is also a convenience store within walking distance. There a many sidewalks to walk around the area. It is very quiet and peaceful. There are washers/dryers available at $2.00 per load. Outside each building there are wooden chairs to sit and enjoy the weather. Note: our GPS couldn't find the hotel. We called and they said to enter the Airport and it got us there no problem. The only downside is the free parking - you need to unload your bags, at the front or back door of the building and move your car to another parking lot.

Stayed here a few nights this time, also have been here in the past. I’ve nothing bad to say other than it’s over priced. It’s an army barracks style room for 110-150 bucks. For the same price ya can have a nice spot with a pool and a hot tub and other creature comforts. This is a good spot, wifi worked well all over. Nice staff, quiet area, secure etc. Just isn’t worth the same $$ as what the fancy guys charge. I’d say it’d be very fair $70/night. The place was spotless clean and the beds and pillows were some of the best I’ve been on.

This hotel is a nice, comfortable place to spend a night. The beds are comfortable; the rooms are clean and the bathroom was also clean. The staff are very friendly. They have a restaurant on sight, however I'm not sure what their hours are.

Reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and spacious. Couldn't ask for anything more. Had all the necessities my husband and I could ask for. We stayed in a queen room (lg dbl bed) which had a small fridge & microwave. Had a nice closet, private bathroom (with sink outside from toilet & shower), a desk, tv, and a dresser. We didn't get a room with a view, but then again we were only there to sleep. Only small negative was that the walls were a bit thin. You could hear noise in the hallway & room beside and above us. Other than that, very pleasant stay and would definitely return and recommend.

What a different experience! Was so cool to stay at a former army barracks. Very dorm like and worked perfect for accommodating our teen ball team with parents. It was a step back in time. Rooms were clean and comfy. Make sure you eat at a reasonable time because everything seems to shut down by 7:30-8pm and after that there’s no food to be found anywhere! Stock your fridge and you’ll be good to go!

This hotel and conference centre is built around the old barracks at CFB Summerside. They have redone the interior of the buildings. Like most hotels you would find. Conveniently located do you need a large group with lots of rooms. Lots of meeting rooms there is a restaurant etc.
