We arrived by car and tried to access the garage unsuccessfully, we were directed to park in front of the hotel and check in as we needed the room key to access the garage. Thats ok with me, a little extra security never hurt. The elevators were the same, needing the room key to ascend to the room floors. Also...

We booked our stay at the hilton. The room was clean and comfortable , room 902. Parking available for $25/ day. Check-in was easy and staff friendly. Its in the heart of chinatown, so there are many Chinese eateries. There is a restaurant on the premises of the hotel. The ride to Quebec was easy, with use of the GPS. The...

Well, this is one Hilton I will not go back to. I am a loyal Hilton guest but this was awful. The service at check in was rude, the room was very cold, empty and smelt awful. The breakfast was very disappointing and the parking was almost impossible. I can't believe that there is not a full Hilton in a...

This was a very nice hotel. It was in a nice location but has no particularly nice views. The staff was friendly. The room was modern and very well equipped. The regular wifi is slow but the hilton honours wifi was decent. The in hotel bar/restaurant was very nice. Food was good and fair priced. During the week the bar...

Stayed there for three nights with three friends during a trip to Canada for ASME Mechanical Conference at Downtown Montreal Convention Center. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, however, rooms are not very spacious. We took a room with two king-sized beds. The breakfast is very good but had to pay additionally for it. The staff is very...

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to all major sites. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good. The lobby area has snacks and water throughout most of the day. Overall, I recommend this hotel and Montreal is beautiful in July!

This hotel was very clean and quiet. All the staff members were polite, friendly and helpful. My family used the pool and gym and were very happy with both. It's location is perfect as it's close to the underground city and Mount Royal. I would definitely return.

The good: the service was first class. We made many requests at the front desk and that exceeded our expectations with each one. Reliable wifi was welcomed as we burned all our data. Room was clean. Hotel layout good. Felt like hotel experience exceeded the price by a lot. Which is good. The bad: parking when you arrive. Tip: slow...

This hotel is centrally located with all major sights in Montreal near by, you can even walk down to the various Quays. The rooms are clean and of a decent size, my room was very comfortable and didn't show any wear and tear, I would stay in this hotel again, for business and for leisure.

I stayed here 4 nights on a business trip. My stay was really comfortable and I liked the location as I could walk to many places from here, Place des Arts, Old Montreal, etc. The hotel and rooms were a bit outdated but still very clean and functional. The service was also great.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
