I stayed in the White Room, which was lovely. Although in the basement, it was decorated very nicely and had ample closet space and mirrors. The breakfast was delicious however small. The bathroom was not connected but was private. Overall the place has a lot of character and is decorated nicely. Friendly staff and a great experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at this bed and breakfast, it was right in the middle of the city and close to everything , the home is beautiful and full of history, very comfortable bed in the room and the breakfast was delicious ! Couldn't ask for a better stay!!

If you like the idea of being tortured in Montreal, the"Medieval" subterranean dungeon room is for you. I feel a fool for having booked here with all the negative reviews that exist. Before booking I did a fair bit of research (though obviously not enough) but wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. My mistake. Lesson learned....

Stayed in this place for 4 nights and I've thought a while before giving this place a low score. It's always difficult when a place has such mixed reviews, but unfortunately I'd agree with the people who dislike Jade Blue. Firstly, the communication from the owner was very prompt following booking, but the fact that there was a mix up...

This is not a hotel! This is a ghost house! It's situated in downtown Montreal in a small street. My husband and I arrived there about 3 am from Niagara falls No receptionist No guest No security Just a scary empty half a duplex We reserved the big suite with jacuzzi Then surprise! It's the basement suite! We were very...

We arrived in Montreal 9PM with no lodging. Owner Linda (although out of country on vacation) promptly returned my phone message and arranged our stay. Host Bettina is charming and knowledgeable about exploring the city. Breakfast is good and plentiful. B&B is very comfy and charming and just a few blocks walk from everything downtown: Old Montreal to the southeast;...

The decoration is distinct and the basement is huge, the tub is great but the room has a gloomy hue, the breakfast is good and the staff is very kind but the host seems a little serious, the room is convenient to metro.

Room decoration is very special, clean and comfortable. My girlfriend and I love its classical decoration style. This is our first time traveling in Montreal. This B&B hotel is very impressed. It brought us not only convenience, but also a cultural exhibition. It's very worthwhile to live this stylized hotel within 120c$. The owners girls kind, welcome and very hospitality.She...

Our hostess was sleeping on our bed as we walked into the room. They walked into the room despite the "do not disturb" sign and a verbal request not to go in. The sheets were not changed, there was hair on the pillows and not a hint of detergent smell. Communication with the owner failed, she doesn't care. It's frustrating...

Room very nice, clean and confortable; owners girls kind, welcome and lovely. Location Near st. Laurence area and hotel the ville, in the centre city, easy to arrive from airport with bus(the stop is far only 200 mt); but pay attention when exit because streets around the b&b are very 'popular'...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
