This hotel was a big disappointment for us. We've read the reviews prior to booking the room, but somehow hoped that the worst ones are not exactly true, but they unfortunately were. After ringing the bell downstairs we got to the building which had a...More
The whole hotel smells funny. The staff is unpolite. There is no real cleaning, I got myself FUNGUS in my arm by using one of their blanket, this tells a lot about the cleaning!
Avoid this place at all costs!
I had a great time there with my sister. The employees were very nice and helpful. The price was really good for the location and breakfast that was included. The only thing that surprisedme was the size of the bedroom. It was kind of small

Honestly after reading reviews on here I was expecting far worse than it actually was. The hotel is kept clean and you can tell the owner works hard keeping the hotel running good. Parking was decent and no where as bad as everyone has said...More
We have just spent 2 weeks at this budget hotel. It is well situated for the town of Montreal, being close to the Centre Ville and right nearby the Village (Gay area). There are a range of Cafes and a McDonalds virtually opposite.

The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party
spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
