We are all very appreciative that you took some time to share your great experiences at Auberge L'Apero (may we also add that the feelings are mutual :)
Thanks and hope to see you again in the near future.
Clean Hostel. Basic but good. Close to the subway and a short ride from downtown. next door to Concordia U and a few blocks from the art museum and Mont Royal. All around a well run hostel, a good value, and a good experience.

Met interesting people of all ages and different countries. Bed rooms, bathrooms kitchen and common spaces are kept clean. The stairs connecting the three levels are narrow and steep; and there isn't an elevator. I liked the "small" size of hostel; which made it feel...More

At an affordable price, the rooms were comfy, the showers hot and powerful, lots of storage space, cooking facilities, WIFI and TV room, mostly helpful staff. So very homey. Suitable for long or short stay.
Don't be fooled by the building and the entrance. This...More

Thanks so much for sharing your positive opinion of Auberge L'Apero :) We are like like a little home indeed, smaller hostels are more intimate and calm.
Hope to see you again,
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
