Good value for money and very well located you can get to the hostel by walk from the bus statiosn, also is in the middle of two metro stations. The staff is amazing, they helped me all the time. For sure, my next time in Montreal I will stay there.

For around $15 a night, this is one of the best deals for a hostel in Montreal. Centrally located, near the bus stop and metro, and parking right across the street! There is also an Enterprise parking lot about 5 minutes away for only $12 a day. The bar is fun with cheap drinks, and the breakfast included is great!...

Great location if, like me, you prefer the ability to walk a city instead of drive. Easy walk to many must-see sights. Price is unbelievable for what you get - and really, who goes on an adventure just to stay in your hotel room? A shared room was perfect for me. The staff is fabulous, btw. Super trendy decor -...

I just spent my 4th weekend here and things hasn't changed at all. Great staff, very clean hostel, lot's of great people to meet here and it's convenient being near a major metro station and many stores and clubs. There's a reason I keep coming back here lol the memories created here always gets better with each visit. When you...

Went there 2 times a couple years appart and both stays were awesome. Very clean, good location, great staff who know the surroundings and will help with everything you need. The bar in the basement is very nice and you don't hear anything from the rooms. Take the parking they suggest which is a short walk from the hostel and...

We stayed at M Montreal for two nights during a whirlwind tour of the east coast over Christmas. During the trip we stayed in 6 different places and this was easily the best. When looking for a place in Montreal we looked at hotels and AirBNBs until somehow we stumbled across M Montreal. Let me say we never, ever stay...

This was a fun hostel with great vibes and very very nice staff! We stayed for one night, enjoyed the clean facilities, social atmosphere and felt pretty comfortable in our mixed dorm room. Free breakfast was also a plus! One important thing to keep in mind if you're driving is that the parking lot directly across the street is a...

I stayed four nights in a mixed four-person room over American Thanksgiving holiday weekend in November 2016. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. I heard both French and English being spoken regularly by staff and guests. The free breakfast was simple (bananas, coffee, juice, a few carb options, no milk/cereal) but very nice to wake up to. The mini-fridge...

This was my first solo trip throughout Canada! I stayed in a 12 mixed gender dorm & easily made friends by making trips to the bar. Considering the price point the experience and services were above and beyond. 100% would recommend.

I went at beginning of November to joint my son in Montreal and he suggest this hotel for of all the good reviews it has received, and it didn't disappoint. The girls in the reception were lovely and kind enough to help me carry my suitcase to my private 3rd floor room. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and nice. There...

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighbourhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
