During our stay in May 2017, we received a 1 bedroom apartment with carpet floors (they also have hardwood floors ones for those allergic to carpets) a small kitchen, living room with tv (another one in the bedroom). Ample space in the living room but a bit small in the kitchen. As for the appliances, they had a coffee maker,...

Dear W4523CIjaviera, Thank you for your review and comments it is greatly appreciated. It is true that our kitchens are a little on the small side, however have everything needed to not have to eat out every night. As well as our rooftop terrace has the nice view of both the city and of Mont Royal. Hopefully we will see...

My wife & I go back to Montreal every Spring to visit family & the city. We love the location close to the action on Ste Catherines Street & easy to drive to NDG & Rosemont. We were put into a room facing an apartment building in the back. The room was a bit dated and had a depressed area...

Dear David L., Thank you for your comments and review. We are glad you enjoyed our location which is right on the edge of downtown Montreal with many different options for food depending on your tastes. It is true that the higher you go the nicer the view and that there is a building behind ours, however this allows for...

I stayed at La Tour Belvedere for 2 nights on my first visit to Montreal. First off, my 1 bedroom apartment was HUGE. I loved getting triple the space for a third the price of a downtown hotel. The kitchen in particular was very useful. The surrounding neighborhood is also great. Just the right amount of shops and restaurants and...

At first when I walked up to the building, I didnt know what to expect. This hotel was moderately priced, not overly expensive for what you get. It was clean, had complimentary Wi-Fi for 1 day. What I liked the most was the little things this hotel did. I had food I brought home from a restaurant, and I was...

We have the Metro, shopping, Food Market, Bars, Banks and even a McDonalds within 2 blocks. As for the hotel itself, it is clean, comfortable and the staff are both friendly and helpful. The pool was shut for maintenance unfortunalty, but that needs to happen sometimes... We were pleasantly surprised by this place. Based on what we paid for it (there was a promo deal on while we were there, but usual rate was about $130/night), we were expecting a pretty grungy place. The lobby has been renovated and is small but nice. There is an area with computers for use, as well as a filtered...

Pros: Location. Close to the Atwater station... Very good space, with a kitchen and separate living room... Nice customer service. Contras: Very, very noisy. Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
