This hotel was perfect for our family while attending a wedding in the Montreal area. It is central and offers your standard cold continental breakfast. The few things I found concerning about it were that: 1) it is not handicap accessible (and even if you get through the front door, the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top...

Stayed 2 days and loved this hotel for its simplicity. It delivered exactly what I was expecting. No frills but clean studio rooms with balconies and a decent breakfast in a perfect location right in the McGill ghetto. Perfect for visiting parents of university students!

I would say this is a great hotel to stay in the city. Room was big & with a balcony. And the balcony added so much good to the room since one can enjoy his/her time standing there & embracing this beautiful city & its people. It's staff was very helpful & quick to respond. As far as location is...

We stayed here 3 nights for the Holiday and that was a great experience. The staff at the front desk was great. The dining room where the breakfast is served was clean and we found a perfect selection of food.

We stayed there for two nights with my wife and our little daughter. The location is very good in walking distance of everything in downtown. However the reception was not very helpful. The couldn't help us with questions about attractions and gave us wrong info about parking. The parking is offsite and quite expensive. If you park there independently they...

Staying at this hotel was so relaxing. I asked about buses, souvenirs, and much more to which the staff all had great advice. Cafe Starbucks is also right next door which was great for me! I loved being able to walk to the Metro that would take us to almost everywhere we wanted to go. I would totally book again.

This Hotel is in the middle part of Montreal. We discovered the Cafe's/Bistros were further south, but with in walking distance. They have a very nice pool on the top floor ,as well as a Sauna for men & woman. The room itself was nicely furnished and decorated. The bathroom was very clean . Bed was comfortable. It has a little bit of...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were totally satisfied with the experience. We had a suite with one queen bed and a pull-out couch in the living room area. There was a full kitchen as well stocked with utensils and glassware. The room was spotless and up-to-date, plus the cleaning staff refreshed towels and sheets daily. The bathroom was...

Stayed at this property for a few days while in Montreal. Was pleasantly surprised. As the name of the hotel implies, the room was a little apartment, complete with a gallery kitchen stocked with plates, cutlery, pots, kettle, etc. The beds were comfort. The room was quiet, even facing Sherbrooke. Although the air conditioner is a little noisy. The breakfast...

Two night. On business. very close to McGill. The free breakfast was OK. The staff were very warm and helpful. The ONLY problem was a noisy neighbor, and in fairness to the management, did not complain about it until the next day.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
