The poeple of the hotel were nice, gentle and polite. The room was nice, a great bathroom, but the bed a little bit uncomfortable (but Ok for two nights). The room was 100% clean, that is a very good point. I baddly didn't use the gym or swimming pool, I don't know how they were. The interior parking is very... More

Stayed there in November 2016 Thursday-Sunday. Although it is located in the east end of town, the metro (subway) is easily accessible to get to downtown montreal. Location wise, there is a Mondelez factory within walking distance and a perfect place to buy snacks like oreos that are not "perfect" enough to go into packages but for a couple of... More

Right near the Olympic Park, Botanical Gardens, Montreal Impact Stadium, the Bio-dome, Maurice Richard Arena, and Planetarium. Walking distance from 2 metro stations and a bus stop right out front. Great hotel for a great price.

Free parking for hotel guests. Reasonable close to Metro stop. Upper scale residential neighbor hood with restaurants and shopping close enough. Cute "biscuit" outlet store down the block. Nearby parks for walking. Near some attractions that are not in the center of the City.

Rooms are okay and comfy, of course, if yu can, ask for a room located in frontthe Olypic village or on the Olympic stadium side. Location is great because the hotel is 1 block away from the great Montreal's subway...you can gain access to all the city...the subway is fast, efficient, clean and safe at any moment of the day... We had to book this hotel last minute and were lucky to get a room at a reasonable price. The decor is a bit tired but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. What nailed it for us was they allowed us a later checkout of 2pm to give us time to prepare for the funeral we had... More

I stayed here for five nights, and booked it primarily on price and for free parking. Parking is barrier-controlled and didn't get full while I was there, but it was close. The staff were friendly and the rooms were well-equipped (for example, a Keurig instead of tiny quantities of instant coffee granules). However, the decor was very outdated. My room... More

The room was actually a small suite and was great. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is across from the Olympic stadium and a block from the Botanical Gardens. We would highly recommend this hotel

Our friend booked this hotel and we stayed for 2 nights, I'm not very impressed with the location, it's far from everything. This is an east side of Montreal and close to Olympic stadium. There's lot of construction going on and it was so hard to drive around due to traffic. The hotel alone is out dated and smells and... More

The location was great, it's in a very calm neighborhood right near Olympic Park and the bio-dome, and about a 10$ uber ride away from downtown. The room was spacious and good looking, however the bathroom was horrible. The sink was in the hallway and had no door to separate it, only the bathtub and the toilet were separated. And... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
