Great location, clean comfortable room, good breakfast, very helpful staff. Breakfast could be improved with the addition of hard boiled eggs. Condition of neighbouring properties gives a false impression of the area including Auberge le jardin d'Antione

Dear guest Thank you for this review and for choosing Auberge Le jardin d’Antoine. I am happy to read you enjoyed your stay with us. We do not plan to put eggs back on the breakfast menu for the moment but there are plenty of other goodies on the continental buffet included ( see menu on our official web site)....

Wonderful staff who were extremely helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. The location was outstanding! The breakfast was VERY good with a lot of selection and excellent service. The only somewhat negative comments were the room was small and there were no elevators but we realized it was an old hotel and it was exactly what we were...

When we arrived we were a little concerned about the area but such concern proved ill-founded. We stopped outside and got directions where to park the car. Not far a secure underground car park. The hotel inside has character there are a variety of rooms. We had a suite which was nice and quite and of course air conditioned. Breakfast...

The location is excellent - right on St. Denis in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, close to the subway. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and the little covered sunken patio a delightful place to eat and watch the neighborhood wake up. Front desk was helpful and courteous. Terrific discounts for the botanical gardens and the...

Our 'Budget' twin room located in the basement was really very small, and so was the bathroom but then, it was reasonable too. So, I am not complaining. The hotel is very well located with a lot of restaurants and the Metro within walking distance with a couple of gardens close by. St Denise street is a happening place! One...

If I'm in Montreal and am not planning to spend any appreciable time in a hotel, then the Auberge le Jardin d'Antoine is an amazing choice. Located on active Rue St. Denis, it's very close to the Berri-UQAM metro station, the central hub. It's also quite close to the downtown core. Major roads are close by, and I highly recommend...

Due to unforeseen circumstances we decided to finish my family's short vacation in Montreal. It was a sudden decision, so I had little time to research and book a room in the city. The photos of this hotel in my Google search intrigued me, and the location was very near my cousin's apartment, so I took a gamble and booked...

Stayed in Aug 2016 for 5 nights in 2 different rooms with the girlfriend; a junior suite #24 for the first 4 nights and a standard room #26 for the last night. Both rooms were functional and well equipped. Although it was much smaller we actually prefered the standard room over the suite. The main reason being the shower in...

We made this last-minute stay based on TA reviews. We have stayed on St-Denis many times now and loved this area where you can find good, diverse food easily. This hotel fits that bill. It's convenient, simple, clean with a very nice staff. Their default parking lot is uncovered btw. We opted for the covered lot at Ontario-Berri/Bibliotheque; C$12/per day/multiple...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
