Our family spent a long weekend at the InterContinental Montreal and would certainly return. The self park underground lot has a very low ceiling which caused damage to my roof racks and nobody warned me against entering. There is a better self parking lot the next block up to the left. The bell staff was very helpful with our luggage...

My sister and I had a girls vacation and stayed here for 3 nights. This hotel is really amazing and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. I had originally booked a club room with a king bed, however since I was travelling with my sister, we really wanted 2 beds. I contacted the hotel a week prior to our...

I have stayed at Intercontinental hotels around the world and this experience will likely cause me to avoid them going forward. The bad experience started immediately, had to double park in front of the hotel, look for someone to ask about parking...finally found someone and he was friendly enough, but they should really have someone outside or block a space...

nice place, beside Palais des Congres, big rooms, especially corner units. bar is a little expensive for the area compare to other hotels. little parking, and what's around is very expensive. can be a little noisy at night due to party crowd during week-ends.

My friends came for the weekend for a Habs game. We wanted to stay at a nicer place so I choose the Intercontinental. I am an spire elite ambassador member. I was treated great. There was a mixup with the rooms as they were not adjoining. Pamela ( I'm sure that was her name) the manager upgraded us to a...

We stayed 2 nights at the Intercontinental in Montreal and it was perfect. We were given a room on the 24th floor with a view of Old Montreal and the river. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom also had a separate tub and shower, which is rare to find. The location couldn't be more convenient as you can...

My partner and I stayed here for three nights while I was attending a conference at the Montreal Convention Center, which is just across the street. We decided to get away for the weekend and took a 5 hr jaunt up to Montreal. We paid for an upgrade to the InterContinental Club, and it was money well spent! The value...

Over all this is an OK hotel, centrally located and comfortable. My concern was with the bathroom, it was very dated. In addition, the shower at the bottom has started to disintegrate on the outside by the door and was very dirty. I would have expected that it be repaired and not left to fall apart and grow mold. Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
