The staff of this hotel was extremely nice and the rooms have a lot of charm, as it used to be a set of Victorian houses. That said, my bathroom had new, modern amenities (new looking tile, pedestal bath and even a whirlpool, but I did not use that last feature). It's very quiet and my bed was very comfortable....

I am so pleased that you enjoyed the old world charm of our victorian style inn, as well as our prime location close to great restaurants and within walking distance of most major tourist site,. If taking the 747 bus from the airport, we do suggest to go to the last stop at the Berri metro station; as mentioned, it...

Just spent two nights and hated to leave! Our room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very helpful and even catered to my gluten free needs at breakfast. I would love to return! Great location.

My partner and I spent 7 nights here in August. We had a superior twin room, which was very spacious, with a seating area and a bay window, brilliant. The room and the bathroom were very clean and the entire hotel is quaint and lovely. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff! Everyone is so friendly, helpful...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from June 1-5, 2016. We chose this hotel based on the location, and because it has a bread and breakfast feel to it. It's in downtown Montreal, which makes it really easy to walk to lots of places. My husband and I love walking, so we always choose hotels in central places....

My daughter spent the night in Armor Manor Sherbrooke Hotel the night before a cruise up the St. Lawrence. There are many great things about this facility: The location is wonderful--right in downtown Montreal. One block behind the hotel is a pedestrian-only street with lots of restaurants and stores. We spent two night in this hotel during our trip to Québec. The building is very well maintained. It doesn't look like "old" but more "vintage" and we liked it a lot. We stayed here for a couple of nights in June. The owner Laurier couldn't have been nicer. He had oodles of patience as he showed us places of interest on the map, and seemed to be quite a deft hand in the kitchen as well. Our room was clean and cosy and the entire house was absolutely gorgeous.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
